Very user friendly,
09/07/2009
After trying out different models in the store and the one I wanted not being in stock I decided on this model. The unit itself is actually very well designed. The iPod dock slides inside the unit when not being used. The controls to turn the various parts on and off are on the front and operate by touch. The controls to set the alarm and such are on the back and the way the unit is made you have to be standing up or turn it to be able to see it but once you set them you really don't need it again so it doesn't really impact the usability. The bass isn't super strong but it does have a small subwoofer in the back. The only thing I don't like about it is that it does not get loud enough. If you want it for use in one room it's perfect, but to get it to be loud enough to hear within your house, it's not adequate. I'm going to return it only because I was really looking for something much louder. If it was, it would be the perfect unit.

nice, but...,
02/16/2010
I got this as a gift recently, and was at first, very excited. It's very easy to set up the time, and alarms are easy to set up. The instructions are basic and don't go into much detail. I liked it, until it didn't go off when I'd set it to. For this to wake you up, using the ipod, the ipod must be "running" all night. I find that amazingly stupid. I understand how it can't "play" the ipod, since you have to touch the play button, but I find it annoying still. I'm iffy on whether or not I'll return it. I do like that it has dual alarms on it, since my husband gets up at a much earlier time than I need to. No need to reset the alarm.
I just wish that my ipod didn't need to be silently playing through all the songs the entire night.

Great Sound and Easy Touch Buttons,
08/12/2010
I have has this about a yr and works just fine. I use it in my office so I do not use it as a alarm clock. Sounds good and the buttons to operate are touch activated, kinda neet. Worth the money.

Dies after a week,
12/03/2009
I loved this radio... until it died after a week. So I exchanged it for another, same thing. The third one just died yesterday, again after working fine for about a week. So I'm giving up and will get a different brand. I don't know if it's a bad product or just a bad batch.

Worthless,
01/16/2010
This dual alarm clock did everything it said it would, for the first five minutes. It had good sound and set the time automatically. Then nothing. The sound quality immediately had so much static that I couldn't even make out what song was playing with my Ipod touch. The radio stations were not much better. I am taking this back to get something more reliable.

Not Easy to Switch Radio Stations,
06/18/2011
I like everything about this product except: 1) switching to a different preset radio station is a little clumsy (I rarely switch radio stations, so this doesn't matter too much to me), and b) there's no way to dim the display entirely (the display can be dimmed, just not turned off completely). Otherwise, it's great.

I bought this for 60 dollars. I thought it would be nice to bring to college. When I tried it when I got home, it worked well, until I tried to move it. Its very sensitive to movement. If you move it just a little, it disconnects.
