This Step2 Picnic Play Table is an ideal interactive game for children 2 to 8 years of age. This children activity table has two separate portions, one to play with sand and the other for water. The water portion has a draining option, with which you can drain off the used water and fill fresh water every time. The table was easy to put together. We were nervous about the legs leaking water because other people complained about this in their reviews. To make sure we didn't have that problem, we put some caulking where the legs attach and let it dry overnight. The next day we added water and we had no leak issues. I'm not sure if we would have had a leak or not if we hadn't done this. We just did it as a precaution. My son LOVES this table. He can see it out the patio windows and he is constantly wanting to go outside to play with it! It keeps him busy for a long time! Some reviews also mentioned they wish the lid would close with the umbrella still in the table. We just take out the umbrella when the day is over. We set it in the table hole loosely when we're outside. This way we can lean it whatever way we want to for best sun protection. The umbrella height is adjustable.

I bought this for my 1 1/2 year old grandson. You put sand in one side and water in the other and it comes with some little toys also. It has a cover that easily clips on so you can keep the bugs and whatnot out of it when not using. Also has an umbrella to keep the sun off of the little ones. My grandson plays in this the whole time he is outside. I see my grandson using this for many years!

My granddaughter, who just turned 5 years old, is on the upper end of the age range, but she is still having a great time playing with it. She may have sand in both sections or water in both sections, but it doesn't really matter. She is outside playing, having fun, and that is the important thing. We especially like the lid that stays on when not in use. We have high wind and the lid stays on perfectly. Great little product.

I bought this for my 4 grandchildren ages 1 - 5 yrs. old to play with when visiting at my house. I love the lid with tie downs, for keeping everything together when they are finished with it. The umbrella is easy to use with it and does help them keeping the sun out of their eyes when playing. I wish the legs of this were adjustable, so that as they get older, we could raise it up a little in height. But all in all I am very satisfied with this purchase. I picked it up at the store aprox. 4 days after I ordered it.

Two of our grandchildren are enjoying playing with the sand and water table. The umbrella provides nice shade during play. I wish the table height was taller; the height is ok for the younger child but the older child is already too tall for the height. I like having the lid, too. Would recommend for purchase.

This product is pretty much what I expected for the price. The touchscreen usually takes a couple of taps to get it to work but I think that it serves it's purpose. I basically only use it for my son who likes to listen to music on it and I didn't want him to have an expensive mp3 player.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is that there is a little (very minimal, probably not even worth mentioning) water leaking from a spot where the leg goes into. Again very minimal, would definately not return it! My grandson loves it; in fact, bought another for my house!

I bought the sand and water table during a sale, and I couldn't be happier with it. The instructions show that you can use a screwdriver. You can not. You have to use a drill, and even that was difficult for me. However, I have only used a drill twice in my life. Herein lies the problem, I imagine.

My children love this table. My daughter got it for her first birthday and loves to play with it filled up with water. My four year old son also has a lot of fun with it. It is very durable. I love that it has an umbrella but hate that you have to remove the umbrella to get the cover on.

I like this water/sand table because it is a little lower in height which makes it easier for more petite children to enjoy playing. The umbrella is nice when it is extremely hot and sunny. I especially like the bungee cord loops on either end of the table top that allow the entire table to be covered securely when not in use. The top fits snugly with no chance of wind or rain dislodging it. This keeps the water and the sand cleaner and free from insects and other animals. The first day my granddaughter and I played with it together, we stayed outside for 2 hours and had such a wonderful time. I highly recommend this product. I ordered online and it arrived in 4 days, in plenty of time for her 3rd birthday. I also purchased play sand from WalMart and gallon jugs of distilled water. It has stayed clean and fresh despite frequent use.

We had already planned to fill both sides of this with sand, knowing that our toddler would not keep the water out of the sand. I wanted a sand table instead of a sandbox and I liked that this one had a top, has 'roads' inside the box, has an umbrella, and is a great size (not too big, but big enough that several kids can play together). It's a great height for our 18 mo old. He loves it and so do we!

Had this shipped site to store and it arrived sooner then expected. The tracking information stated that the item was refused because of damage to the packaging but I received an email from Walmart 4 hours after the delivery saying it was ready for pick up. The box was tapped but there was no damage to the product. From taking the parts out of the box to replacing the lid after assembly took me 18 minutes thanks to my Husbands Cordless Craftsman Drill. Couldn't imagine putting this thing together with only a screwdriver. I did use a sharp knife to make a hole to help the longer screws get started. I made sure to push the legs in tightly when putting in the first two screws so there wouldn't be any leaks. None so far and my Bouncing Baby Boy loves this table. Its great for outdoor use and we have even brought it inside to use on the tile (with water only) on rainy days.
