The lamp came with a broken socket which is not standard in the USA. Finding a replacement part was difficult... the shade does not stay firmly in place it wobbles.....

I like the finish and the functionality. The light bulb could a bit brighter and seems to have some flickering as florescent bulbs do. Overall, I am happy with it.

The maximum height on this lamp is a little too low for completely comfortable use with the upright chair I use to sit in when I read and do needlework. It had not occurred to me to check that because I had never had an issue with lamp height before. I was also disappointed that the bulb is not available in my local Wal Mart. How am I supposed to replace it?
