Takes great pictures.

I took a photography class last year and ever since then I have not liked using digital cameras. This is a great manual camera. The pictures are clear and I love that it comes with all the accessories. It is also pretty cheap. I have been looking for cameras for a while now and when I saw this price and what it comes with I had to get it. It is a great camera and I would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic for begginners

I bought this product for my son's photography class in high school. However, the camera is so easy to use that he was able to get fantastic shots the day it came. His teacher was amazed that we could get such a quality product at a reasonable price. His camera is the one she uses to explain things to the other students. I would recommend this camera for people who just wish to have a first class camera for home use as well.

Not a very reliable camera

I had an okay experience with this camera. I thought it was a pain to have to change the film all the time. I would recommend a digital camera because this is a 100% manual camera and if you don't understand the settings it can be a little confusing. Plus, you cannot see what you shoot because there is only a viewfinder.
Also, the film advance crank thingy broke after several days of usage.

If you want a digital so you can run home and only see them on the PC and post all over the place. then no this camera isn't good for you and to tires to opem back insert film then close back. dont let anyone let you think it is hard.. it is easy and fast . If you spend about 30 mins and look up how to shoot a picture then this is a great camera. take 24 to 36 pics take to store get developed in 1 hr if they have it. then some will put them on CD for free. But you get a better picture from photograph to digital then you will get from digital to photograph, to change film takes a minute, everyone has 60 secs to change small film cartridge

Very pleased with this camera

I am using this camera for a university photography class (black and white) and am very happy with it. It has half-stops for more accurate aperture settings, which I'm really appreciating now that we're shooting. It feels very sturdy and has a good response. My first prints are looking good. It seems I can do everything with this camera that I should be able to do at this level. Good price, and with case, carrying bag, strap, etc.

Film camera's will always look better than many many digital camera's, I'd rather take 35mm pictures and convert them to digital, you dont get the same when you go to digtal and put them on film.. this camera is good. I am still using my 35mm i bought in 1983,

Better pics than my digital camera

I purchased this item for a class but got it early so I had time to get used to it. Although I loaded the film incorrectly the first few times, afterward I took a roll and had it processed and was amazed! I had never take. Pictures so nice and clear before! I took another roll and still loved it! I had a small dance to attend and actually had basically the same picture taken with my digital camera and this camera - the results were amazing!!! Although I did something wrong to make my pictures a little to bright - the pics with this camera were amazingly better than my digital! Much clearer, more defined, and definately brighter :)
