Love this camera. This is replacing an old 35mm Canon Powershot. The zoom is fantastic and you can still fit it in your pocket. Yes there is a delay in the method you use to take pic so I wouldn't reccommend for high speed shots.

I bought this camera a few weeks ago and have been using it almost every day... and, I have to say, Canon truly outdid themselves on this one. Superior image quality/workability, and a boatload of features I couldn't find on any other camera in the $250-$350 price range. At first, the menu and function controls are hard to master. Once you get the hang of it, though, you will be shooting like a pro.

Although I'm still learning this camera, I'm finding my way around inside of it fairly easy. I can see why this camera has received excellent ratings from non biased camera sites that rate it as the best release of the year for the price. I'm excited about taking this camera on an Alaskan cruise and land tour this summer.

I think the thing I like best about this camera is that there is so much more to see in the picture. My old camera would focus too much on the forefront and lose everything in the background. I took a picture of my husband and I infront of the atrium on a cruise ship, using the flash. The picture focused on us perfectly but was also able to capture the beautiful lights behind us that lit up the atrium. I would definitely recommend this camera!

This is a great camera at a great price. I went from a Kodak 5 MP to this 12 MP with 12X optical zoom. I haven't had alot of time to experiment with this camera yet, but so far I love it.

I purchased this camera mainly for its optical zoom and I am truly pleased with the camera so far . The picture quality is excellent and the 12x zoom is great . I like the size of the camera and the controls are easy enough to use . I would have liked to have some type of material added to the body of the camera to help grip it better as it can be a little hard to get a grip on . Overall I feel this is an excellent camera for the price .

I'm loving this new camera. Very easy to use. Takes very nice pictures even if you aren't very good with a camera. Has lots of great settings for various types of pictures. Have owned a Kodak for years and was very happy with them but the ease and availability of great zoom on this camera has me hooked. Am very happy with my choice.

This camera takes pretty good pictures & also the video quality was also very good. Purchased this camera as a gift from Santa for husband & myself. There is still alot to learn about using it but I am very pleased with it. Previously I had 2 Olympus cameras in the same price range & this camera is much better product. This product is easy to learn.
I enjoy taking photos knowing that the camera
is making corrections so I will end up with a great
picture.
Love the small size -so very handy!
And since it is able to work with a memory card,

This is one of the highest end non-DSLR camera. It is a digital camera with all the features. One of the reviews it is a bit, a bit, awkward to hold for taking pictures, but it takes gorgeous shots, has a huge screen, amazing zoom... Great camera, little pricey.
