I got this camera when we had our first child because I wanted one that takes clear, quick, quality photos. I could not be happier with this purchase....definitely worth the money! A cool feature lets you highlight any color and the rest of the photo is black and white. Great camera!!!!

I've had many digital cameras in my day. Always thought the camera I had at the time was the best. Then I bought this one. It keeps surprising me with all the functions. Its got an amazingly fast and accurate shutter speed. It is so smart! Choosing the right scene setting for each picture! It does a much a much better job than i ever could. It hasn't failed me yet. A little pricey, but definately worth it!! I might cry if it ever breaks!

i absolutley love this camera! as i was shopping for my second camera i knew the only thing i was looking for was HIGH QUALITY pictures!!! not only does this camera look awesome, the pictures are so realistic, and just like real life! the nikon i had before made faces turn out bright w/ too much flash. this hasn't happened once with the canon. when i read the reviews before i bought this camera the only negative review said the buttons were too small - i don't have big fingers 'n the picture quality is worth it!

I do love this camera, and the way it operates and performs, but, when the battery died, the lens did not retract. I was on vacation, and not able to charge the battery until I arrived at the place I was staying, and in that time, the lens was knocked off alignment, and now won't close. I'm forced to send it off for repair. I've owned it for less than 2 weeks.

I purchased this camera a few weeks ago to upgrade from a 6 mp cam and have been very pleased with the pictures it takes! Pictures are in focus and clear - I've taken an up close picture of my hand and it doesn't blur or turn yellow from the flash like my old camera did, instead - you can clearly see the pores and texture of my hand..even my wedding ring is in focus! This really impressed me. The shots have all been great so far, no blur. The size is compact and I love the matte finish..camera is very sharp looking. I did some research and definitely thought this Canon would give me the best bang for my buck and it's been true so far.

After purchasing and returning several other cameras for poor performance, I am delighted with this one. My pictures are crisp and clear, the color reproduction is excellent, and it is giving me the results I expect from a digital camera. The only negative is the smallness of the viewfinder. It is so small that I doubt I will ever use it, but fortunately the LCD screen produces excellent images and even works fairly well in bright sunlight.

Canon cameras are amazing. This is my 3rd Canon digital camera. I refuse to try other brands. I have my OLD 3MP canon camera that literally takes better pics than other 10MP cameras my friends have by sony and kodak. So when I needed a new one (lost old ones) I immediately went with the "PowerShot" line with Canon. I LOVE this camera. Auto setting adjusts the flash according to lighting. This camera is beyond tiny and the screen is still HUGE! Very lightweight! I am going to buy a second one in RED. This black one is for family use. I depend on reviews before buying a product. I am telling you readers this camera does not disappoint. The zoom is good too. I take pics of kids when they are running it does NOT come out fuzzy! I was amazed. However I personally was not keeping my hand that steady and the pic came out a TAD blurry. So you can take pics of moving objects clearly but YOU cannot be the moving object. LOL O yes.. Video quality is very good too. I uploaded two pics. One with me setting flash and one with the "Auto" setting. The cameras auto setting took the better pic. The camera knows which lighting is best so its always good to leave it on Auto. Camera is pricey. But walmart had it on sale. Too bad it was sold out when I went. Got it at "B.B." :)

This camera has many features I would not expect in a camera at this price range. It takes clear pictures and auto corrects the lighting indoors and out. It has a kids/pets setting that allows me to take clear pictures of my 15 month old son as he's moving around. I highly recommend this camera to anyone who wants to take great quality pictures with a pocket sized camera.

well i have had this for 3 days now and i lovvveee it i mean i first got a Nikon camera one of those big chunky ones cause the picture quality was good and i was going on vacation but the battery lasted 5 min no lie then my little brother got a canon powershot for x-mass i fell in love the pics where great and the size of the cameras made it easy to carry around in my pocket. so i had to get one as well so i saved up the money and got this one. The vids are very nice.and once u learn the settings very simple to use.The price is a little expensive but worth every penny trust me u get what you pay for. Ummm only con i can think of is wish there was more colors to choose from but other than that this camera ROCKS =) o0o0o i took two pics of my cats one of each hope u like
