Canon PowerShot SD1200-IS Green 10.0MP Digital ELPH Camera w/ 2.5" LCD, 3x Optical Zoom

I have been pleasantly surprised by this camera. I just upgraded from my previous Elph (never give a 2yr old your camera). But, I first tried an Olympus, nope, sent it back. I decided to stay with the elph line and I found this. It is even better than the original camera that I loved! There is very little lag time between pushing the button and the camera actually taking the pic, and I mean "very" little. Focuses great. Nice screen size. Overall, as you can tell, I would definitely buy this again if my daughter breaks this one too.

I love this camera.. I have had many cameras before and this one far exceeds the rest. The face tracker is great with kids and the picture quality for a digital camera is great! & the I love the green color!!

This camera takes amazing pictures. Really clear and full of color. Its compact and easy to take places. I also got the soft case with the carabiniere attached to it which is great.

I was looking for a compact camera that would be easy to use and small enough to stick in my pocket. I have 2 small children and we are always on the go, so this camera was perfect because it is not bulky and it takes great pictures!!!! The pictures turn out very clear and it can even capture the kids while they are on the move! :) I was a little concerned about the battery because in the past all of my digital cameras have taken AA batteries, but the battery stays charged for a really long time! I bought a spare battery to keep in my camera case though because I don't like to be somewhere and have a camera with a dead battery since the battery is a different size and you can't pick one up just anywhere!

this is such a great camera. its amazing and sleek especially in the colors. the 12x zoom takes incredibly clear pictures. no pixels. if u need to pick a company, definitely get a canon. easy, cool zoom feature, easy for computer using.

I am still tring to figure out all the functions, but so far love all of them. I have a very active 3 year old and have gotten some great action shots. I love the auto focus mode and the continueous shots modes. Great in low level lighting. We leave for the beach next week so I am ready to try out the sand and sunset modes.

This camera takes great pictures and is simple to use. Right out of the box, we took it on our motorcycle trip to Colorado.

I bought this for my wife to have something she could throw in her purse and take to the Zoo or something. We have only had this about a week, but from the pictures I have taken both indoors and out I am very impressed with the quality of pictures this little bugger takes. I am very picky about noise in the pictures and although I have not printed any out as of yet, blown up on the 19'' computer screen will tell ya everything you want to know about how the shot looks. This camera has an AUTO feature which I mainly use for everything except KIDS moving. For that I use the Kids & Pets mode and even indoor shots look very even on the skin tones. Keep in mind this it not going to take pictures like an digital SLR, but very good pictures for every day use. I do wish it had more zoom 3x is not much. I have a Panasonic w 12x and takes the best pictures I have ever seen a consumer product take. This is a good compliment to it to.
