The desk is beautiful assembled. The assembly was easy enough that with help, my 11 year old put it together (His dad guided as well as hammered). My only real complaint is that the laminate chipped away on some of the corners. They were hidden under and inside cabinets, so we decided not to return the desk, but that was a bit disappointing.
