Bought this for my RV as all of my movies are now DVD. I first purchased a 19" Toshiba w DVD at Costco but the sound was terrible so I took it back and then did some research and found out about the Sansui. The sound is no longer a problem. I did like the fold away adjustable stand on the Toshiba, unlike the Sansui, however sound is more important. Picture quality and ease of use are the same for both. So far the 19" Sansui is meeting my expectations.

We bought this for our teenage son's room. The picture is excellent, the sound is great, and the dvd player worked perfectly. Our son was very pleased. Walmart shipped the item to us very quickly. We also purchased a wall mount kit for the tv which made it even better. I would definitely recommend for a spare room or a teenager who is rough on his "toys."

I ordered this for my daughter who lives out of state from me and even paid the extra for the quick 1-3 day shipping. She had it delivered within 2 days! And she was so excited, she just loved, loved the picture. She said it was the most beautiful she had even seen. Even the sound. As I was talking to her on the phone, she turned up the volume, "Listen Mom, Listen!!" My daughter is very, very happy, so I'm happy.

Not so great picture,

Returned TV. It was too big for the space in my kitchen. I would have kept it for another room but the biggest issue was the picture quality. It was not clear and channel to channel the tint, contrast, etc seemed to change.I had problems with autoprogramming the cable vs digital channels and the TV flipped through each. This was very frustrating and confusing. Didn't even try the DVD.

I PURCHASED THIS TV TO REPLACE THE OLD ONE I HAD IN MY HORSE TRAILER'S LIVING QUARTERS. THE PICTURE WAS BETTER THAN MY $5,000 TV IN MY HOUSE , I WAS AMAZED. NO BOX TO HOOK UP PLAYED GREAT . I HAVE ONLY HAD IT A COUPLE OF WEEKS BUT IT SEEMS TO BE A GREAT TV ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE !

Haven't had the TV very long but so far it works really well. I have not tried the DVD player yet, but am sure that it will work well also. The picture quality, even though not hooked up to cable, is superb!

We bought this TV to use in our camper it is a good fit small but good for the space. Great Picture and great sound. Since this was for the camper we are happy with the purchase. If we had wanted for the house which we did plug in to make sure the TV looked good. I would not have wanted it for the house because with the screen being only 19" it was hard to see the words if there were any on the screen, like Cable screen when you are switching channels.

This is our first flat panel in the house and it went into my daughter's room. It has a remote with many features and options including sleep timer--which I love. Sound is good, I haven't played games on it or turned it up loud, but so far the sound quality is fine. The DVD player is on left side of tv (as you face it) which is kind of odd, considering most people do things to the right. Site to store option was quicker than quick.

Great TV for my guest bedroom and love the DVD feature. Good quality, good sound. Has a wider screen feel to it but I got used to it in a few minutes. Thanks Walmart for shipping so quickly too - just added on $9 instead of using "ship to store" option and I got it at my door in 3 days!

I found this set on the Wal-Mart online site about three weeks ago. I had been looking for a TV/DVD set for several months. I purchased and tried 3 or 4 in my home. Most of them were ok at best. The real problem was in the sound, but that's not the case with this one. I needed GREAT sound and an 'all in one system.' This is the one.
This set is a great buy for the price and you may be getting much more than you actuall pay for. This set is BIG on sound and it functions as good as, if not better than many of the bigger and more costly sets.
If you're looking for a set in this size and format, GRAB this one quick because I don't think this one will be around very long.
