I used this chair outside at a craft fair. The first day was beautiful and sunny, the second day was windy and rainy. The chair provided protection on both days from the sun and the rain. I'm so glad I purchased this chair and would highly recommend it to anyone.

When I first got the chair it was great! I loved it, and used it on the weekends for soccer games. But in less than a year, it's no longer useable. The problem: There are two 5" plastic strips that connect the canopy to the frame. They have completely shredded, both sides. OTHERS HAVE REPORTED THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. While it may seem wonderful when you first get it (it is a good idea), don't plan it lasting more than one season.

I ordered this for my 20 year old grandson. He loves to fish. But, in the summer heat it so hard to sit out on the bank and fish and not get sick or burnt. He loves his new chair. My husband and I, plan to give these chairs as gifts to a lot of our friends and order some for ourselves. This is worth the money and they are so easy to carry, use and store.

Bought this chair for my Mom as a birthday gift & she loved it. She has very fair skin & has a vacation home in FL...where she spents a lot of time @ the beach. She use to tote a huge Umbrella with her down to the beach everyday...now just has to strap this lightweight chair on her back & go! Great purchase!

As you can tell by the year of my birth, I am 76 years young. So far I have only used the chair once,but it was enough to tell me that I had made a fine purchase. It was easy to transport because of the backpack style straps. The beach I use has very steep steps going from the parking lot down to the beach. It was easy to transport the chair to get to the beach. Once on the beach the chair was easy to set up and very comfortable to sit on. Closing the chair was very easy leaving the beach. I bought these chairs because my daughter rodeos alot and I thought they might be easier to deal with than setting up a sun shelter. I was right. The chairs were not too heavy to carry around and they kept the sun off of us. People were coming up to us to ask where we had got them. They were a big hit!
