So, i got this camera for christmas from my dad after i researched this camera for over 2 months. Overall i say this camera is top of the line, amazing camera. It's touch screen, has two different ways of filming (on a DVD or on a memory stick) The only down part of this camera is if you are recording on a miniDVD, you cannot erase the video, but, you can play those DVDs on any DVD player! I use my camera for making film projects for school, and at home. I use a memory stick, then upload the videos to my computer. The camera is very simple to use, and has so many features. It takes pictures, but they aren't very high quality, but the video quality is VERY good. Andif you get a tripod, it makes the video even clearer! THIS IS A VERY GOOD PURCHASE!!!!

This camcorder was purchased to record my son's first tee ball games. I have used it for all his games and I also got to use it for the end of his school year. The picture and sound are really great and clear. Everything is great on this camcorder the only think I wish it had is more fun stuff. (like being able to title it, etc.)

I got this camcorder to be able to record and review my work outs and to record family get together for my sister who lives out of state I like it a lot first its easy to use I had another one that was hard to do anything with hard to figure out very limited storage memory basicly more trouble then it was worth.. I had no problem using this one right out of the box the instruction were easy to follow I have a lot of opions as far as how I want to record cams memory, memory card, or to disk I know from reading the reviews before I got it some thought the battery life was to short, but so far its met all my needs. We had are 4th of july cook out and I got all the things I wanted to get on one charge with power to spare. my sister borrowed it and loved it she is not the most teck savy person she used the easy mode button which lets you just pointed and recorded to this point I havent found one thing I dislike about it

Great zoom but it uses the mini disc not full DVD's so I returned to the store. Mini disc recording time is very short needed it for longer than 1 hour (30mins) each side.

I bought this cause I wanting to record my Daughters birth and life for the first yr and for a few how to videos for youtube. I found the price a little price but I didn't care I found that all the thing about it was great. Its not the flip or any of the others but its better even with the exter work to add it to youtub. I also found that you can't play the dvd on all dvd players unless there the new ones and or build into the tv type but also you can just play it off your camera if you want too..

I bought this camera because my boyfriend's brother had one. I was a little hesitant at first, as he has had his for awhile and that model is no longer available. However, when I received this model, it was very similar, with the only changes being improvements to camera. I LOVE IT! It is very high quality, very reasonably priced, and very user-friendly. My only issue is that you cannot save the recordings to the memory card - only the dvd. Also the pictures can only go on the memory card. Even if I had known this prior to the purchase, I still would have bought it. Definitely a good buy!

Well we havent used this camcorder for real yet. And by that I mean we haven't gotten the memory stik for it. I have faith that it will be great! I have borrowed this exact camcorder from a friend in the last year and that is what had my interest in purchasing it. The family is going to Disney in May and that is the reason for the purchase. We will see, so far so good!

I think this is a great camera. U can use the memory stick or record right onto a DVD. It is very easy to use. The battery holds it charge way longer than I expected. I keep it handy and I have gotten so many awesome moments recorded of my twin two yr olds. I like how u turn it on and BOOM ready to record. Often with toddlers they r done playing before I ever had my cell phone ready to record the video. So....I LUV THIS CAMCORDER!!!! GREAT PRICE, easy to use, GREAT VIDEO QUALITY!

I was able to video my youngest son playing as well as my other children. The video is clear and sound is great. WE LOVE IT!!!! I haven't used the photo option because I have a really good camera already. I thought is was bigger, but the size is fine. It didn't really say that it uses mini-DVD's, or maybe I missed that in the reading. I have been looking at the style of camcorder for awhile and was glad to finally see it for a great price!!!!

This camcorder is great. I was expecting one that was a little bigger, but it's great because it perfectly fits in the palm of your hand. The quality is excellent. The only thing my husband and I need to figure out now is how to erase a video. All in all, I highly recommend this camcorder to anyone who is looking for something small to videotape their kids. My sister and I both actually ordered one for each of us at the same time...and she loves hers also!
