THIS CAMERA IS ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS IN EVERY WAY, SHAPE AND FORM!!! CONSIDERING I AM UPGRADING FROM AN OLD 2.1 MP HP, THE DIFFERENCES WERE EXTRAORDINARY. THE CAMERA HAS EASY FUNCTION KEYS AND THE QUALITY OF THE PICTURES TAKEN BY IT ARE INCREDIBLE. DID ALOT OF RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING AND I AM GLAD WITH MY PURCHASE WITH ALL THAT IT HAS TO OFFER!!! this camera is amazing. I have owned numerous cameras and this is by far the best. The pictures come out amazing in any light. This is the best camera out there for the price. I was a cannon fan but the new cannon is terrible(do not buy) If you want a camera that is wonderful and will give you great pictures buy this one!!!! (it doesn't even give you glare when you take a picture through glass)

This is a great camera. It takes great pictures, It's easy to operate, and has plenty of extra features to play with. By shopping for a camera on walmart.com I was able to get a better camera for a better price than what was offered at the store itself.

This camera is sooo neat, it has so many features I have not even investigated enough but I can tell you righ off the bat that is is the best camera I have owned. I bought it right on time for thanksgiving and we took the most beautiful pictures with it and I received a lot of compliments on my camera. It's also small and cute, clear pic and clear video. I am sooo excited because I am always taking pictures.

this camara is awesome!! if your a simple picture taker this camara is for you. I bought this camara two weeks ago and i havent put it down yet! it takes fabulous pictures that come out high quality, on a large 3 in screen! I was looking around for the right camara for MONTHS! and the only one that was simple enough for me but still intelligent was this one!
The intelligent mode is soooooo useful! honestly I don't understand all the features on ANY electronic but this camara changes itself to match the picture setting. For example: It snowed last week and i wanted to show my sister in Florida the snow, so i took a picture and the camara changed its settings to a landscape setting! its so smart for a little camara!
Theres a ton of features that you can use on the camara itself, like my favorite is the "BURST" mode. While holding down the shutter button its continuely takes pictures of your object so you never miss a moment of whatever your object or subject is doing. This is great for people who have children or pets that they like to capture pictures of, I know i use it on my dog and i get so many great pictures of him that I wouldve never gotten had I snapped the pictures one by one.
I just love this camara if you love taking pictures but not a professional but still want quality photos..you just have to get this camara!

Where do I start.. I love every single thing about this camera. I didn't need the manual as the buttons and menu options are well defined and easy to understand. The pictures from this camera are amazing!
I cannot believe the difference in my last camera (only 8 mega pixels) versus this Sony 12.1mp! The feature, I later found out, that has made the difference in the high quality photos is the Carl Zeiss lens! Check out the Zeiss website and you will see how renowned this name is for high quality lens and optics.
I could go on and on about the satisfaction I have for this Sony camera and it's high quality, but all I can say is BUY this camera! I was not sure what camera to buy. I did know all I wanted to do is turn the camera on, aim and push a button! On the automatic setting, that is all you have to do and you will achieve professional quality pictures. Now if you're the type of person who knows all about cameras, then you too will Love this camera. It has so many choices and settings if you "choose" to do that, but I let the intelligence built into the camera do all the work and all my pictures have been the highest quality!
I also like the fact this camera has "Optical SteadyShot Image Stabilization" that basically means no matter how shaky your hand is, your pictures will be perfect and clear. The 3" LCD screen on this camera is huge compared to most I looked at, and crystal clear. Also another interesting feature is the "Smile Shutter Face Detection" this camera finds faces (up to 8 in one portrait) and knows if your subjects are smiling or not. This camera even takes 720p HD video! Oh and the (included) rechargeable battery is the best I've ever had and lasted all day at my family reunion! I had the camera on for most of the day, if not taking pictures I was passing it around for others to view the pictures already taken.
Bottom line, if you are in the market for a compact point and shoot camera, Buy this Sony!

Love this camera! Has a lot of new features that my 4 year old Cybershot didn't have. There is a rapid shot type feature that will allow you to take a quick succession of photos by simply holding down the shutter button. GREAT for action shots!
The camera is easy to use and I've already had alot of fun with it. A little bit bigger than my last camera, but still fits in the same camera case. A bigger screen was a nice plus, even though I didn't care about that when I made this selection. I would definitely recommend this camera.

this camera is wonderful, it has 12.1 mg pixels and 5x zoom which means you can get right into someones face or get right up on the object that you are trying to shoot. it self adjust so that the photo is not blurry. small enough to put into your purse or pocket. it has so many different features for different types of light and so on. i would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a not too expensive camera but a good camera...
