I bought this bed for my 22 year old son who is coming to visit us for a few days. I slept on it last night to give it a test run. Results: I got a good nights sleep, very comfortable! Things you should know: 1) Bed is sturdily made, well worth the under $50 price tag. 2) bed is narrow, but not uncomfortably so, probably the width of a standard sleeping bag. 3) Sturdy canvas sleeping area is attached to the bed frame by small springs along the edges so there is no bar poking you across the back giving you a smooth sleep surface. 4) the mattress is covered in a plastic/weatherproof material which rustles some when you move around on it. I put a heavy blanket folded in half over it and the rustling sound of the plastic cover was minimized. I guess you could take off the plastic outer cover of the mattress if it really bothers you. 5) Storing is easy, just tuck the matress pad in the back of the cot (the way it came packaged) fold back up and close with the velcro strap. Overall: Excellent value, very sturdy, very comfortable to sleep on (obviously not as comfortable as your own bed, but definitely good enough for a couple of days). I was very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it as a guest bed over any inflatable or mattress hide-a-bed which are much more expensive and probably not as comfortable.

I was not sure what to expect, buying online. I am very satisfied with this product. The quality of Coleman, for a very reasonable price and it arrived early! My nephew stays sometimes on the weekends, this is perfect!

My 5 year old son still sleeps in our room. This little bed is perfect for him. Gets him up off the floor and is just the right size. I even laid on it a couple of times and seems to be really comfortable.

Bought 2 of these cot's to use for a camping trip. Unfortunately the trip was rained out and we did not get to go. However, a homeless friend needing a place to stay has been sleeping on one of the cot's at my house and reports it is very comfortable and roomy. It has spring attachments under the mattress pad to allow some flexibility. He even slipped the cot mattress into a spare sleeping bag for extra padding and made it into a deluxe model! This is such a great purchase! All households should have a spare cot on hand! You really never know when you will need it! And you will!!! I only wish I had gotten the cot bags to cleanly store them when I had the chance...

I bought a "Converta Cot" a few years back. It had one thing wrong with it! It was 12 inches tall. Not too bad but it was hard to get into. Maybe it was just me! Then I saw one that was 16 inches tall (Coleman Ridgeline II Camp Bed) That was just enough! When you got the back up you have to get up to adjust it. What a pain! With the new one you just sit down! So I gave it to my neighbor as he liked it and I ordered a new one. It has a Mattress that's loose. And is made out Steel. It was only 2 Dollars more! Both of these things are excellent!

tried out the "old" style cot and was not happy! we bought 3 of these Coleman Camp Beds and we LOVE them! easy set up, not to heavy and good nights sleep! the springs make the cot not so stiff and the mattress (not that thick) do the trick for added comfort and warmth............my husband & son agree......2 thumbs up!
