The Sanyo 19" LCD HDTV is equipped with HDMI and Component Audio/Video Inputs — so you have plenty of options for DVD, VCR, Cable, Satellite and external antenna connections. A Digital Audio Output (coaxial) allows hookup to a home entertainment receiver amplifier system for theater-like sound. Plus, an additional PC/Mac input allows you to use the the Sanyo 19" LCD HDTV as a computer monitor. Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of the the Sanyo 19" LCD HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than a standard-definition TV. Please contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade to HD programming.

While it was a little tricky to set up (not at all intuitive, murky -- but not impossible -- instructions), the picture quality is outstanding. I bought it as a bedroom TV, and it's just perfect for that -- low profile, lightweight, sleep timer. I'd recommend this for a bedroom, kids' room ... anyplace that you'd like a small TV. I purchased it "Site to Store," and the delivery was faster than I expected.

This 18.5in. HDTV had the best/clearest picture of any that I saw. However if you try to program a universal remote go to ORION for the programming number. The Sanyo numbers don't work.

I bought the 18.5" Sanyo for travel when I knew there would be no TV where I was staying. Using only a Terk HDTVa indoor antenna I was amazed at the excellent picture quality from stations that I can only describe as being in the fringe area of. Having television while on the trip in remote Maine areas made all the difference. The light weight and compactness made transporting in the car no problem.

First the screen went black, shut it off, turned back on but no sign of life. No sound no picture. Went on line to see if there was a fix and was shocked to discover how many other owners had the same problem and no cure. Still hoping Sanyo will acknowledge the problem and present us with a fix.

I bought this TV a few days ago. It was very easy to set up. Used in bedroom where it fits on dresser. Gave old Sanyo analog set to son in college. Very good picture on most channels. Initially had problems programming TV with my Dishnetwork remote but got that resolved. Has features found on more pricy sets. Adequate input jacks. Have owned several Sanyo products over the years & they are reliable & a good value. I would recommend this TV.

I was looking to buy a LCD HDTV to replace my tiny old 15 inch tube tv. After reading alot of reviews for LCD TV's I was afraid to get one this size because alot of the reviews were saying that picture quality was not good and that sound quality can be horrible. Well this TV is just amazing, ever since I bought it back in January it has worked peferct. Has amazing picture and sound for its price and has alot of conections which are great for using multiple devices like DVD players and gaming systems. Perfect size for a kitchen or small bedroom!

I bought this television yesterday and will be returning it today. We can watch it for about 15 minutes and then the picture goes off but the sound stays on. We have to turn it off and back on in order to get the picture back on for another 15 minutes or so. Then it is the same thing all over again. The sleep mode is off and the automatic shut off isn't on. This is an annoying problem.

This is a nice looking LCD that is appropriate for a bedroom or den but the picture quality is only adequate. Perhaps my biggest complaint is that the color does not look natural (no matter how much I play with the controls) and the color is noticeably different on different channels. I'd guess the tuner is low quality. That said, my disappointment was not great enough to send the unit back. I bought a very low-priced TV and I got what I paid for. Even with HD transmission I miss my old analog TV (it died) that had a more realistic image.

I'm such a bargain finder and Wow was this a great one! The nice thing about this TV is it is exactly what I thought it would be. Some reviewers have said "it leans forward". It did for me too when I took it out of the box, but I gently straightened it a little and now it's absolutely fine. The picture is great, the sound is good, it's easy to hook up, and the price was...well.....priceless! Thanks Walmart.

This HDTV is the best value I have seen; for about $185 it has a picture quality as good as or better than any of the "big names". It also makes an excellent computer monitor since it has a multitude of connection options. I will look at other Sanyo HDTV's next time I want to upgrade.
