Bought for new Lab puppy to grow into (Large.) Good construction, good door, no complaints. Puppy has slept in it since bringing her home, w/ no problems. Good product, and got it for a very good price. Better and/or cheaper than comparables I saw at pet stores.

Hard to assemble

Great, sturdy carrier. Good value for the size (27" model). Assembly instructions are simple, but the actual assembly is rather difficult. The problem is lining up the top & bottom halves to insert the connecting pegs. Easier said then done, but once complete, its a nice carrier.

We needed a stronger bigger one then we had, this was even bigger then I thought it would be. Our dog weighs less then 20 pounds, but I wanted room for him to move around and not feel croweded like in the old one we had. So if you have a dog this size you could go down to the a size smaller then the large and still have extra room. I put his bed in there, this is where he will stay when we have company over so he won't jump on them and bark . It is well made and the door is very heavy duty. We need a strong door because he gets mad when we shut it and he tries to bite it. This one he can't do any damage to. He actually goes in by himself during the day and curls up to sleep, so I would say he really likes it. I would recommned this if your looking for a strong cage or carrier for any size pet.

We needed a larger crate - NOT interested in bthye canvas type. This is perfect. Easy to snap together - lots of rooms inside for 2 daschunds, looks to be well made. Would definitely recommend.

When I got to the airport I found that the bolts were not accepted for flying. Luckily the gal in cargo had a drill to drill holes for screws, but I had to drive 10 miles at 6 am looking for a hardware store and almost missed the flight. They had all ready picked up from cargo and they had to be called back 2 minutes later would of been too late.

We needed a XL pet carrier to take our German shepherd to the vet. This one fit the need just great. It arrived as promised. Good quality, great value and a great size. Our dog weighs 115 lbs. and she has plenty of room. Highly recommend.

This is a great pet carrier. It does not have a handle. You obviously wouldn't be carrying it with a pet in it, but might be easier to handle otherwise. The mechanism to open the door can be tricky if you do not watch your fingers, but rest assured, you will only do this once. For the price, very good pet carrier!

The dogs enjoyed the size of the kennel and the airport accepted this kennel! I had to fly two small dogs home to Washington, and these were the least expensive option. They put together easily and were light weight too.

I purchased this because my other carriers were too small for my very large cat. This is just the right size and sturdy enough to do the job. It will also work well as a small dog carrier. It is well made and very light. It has great features and looks great as well.

I have purchased a lot of crates as I have been breeding dogs for 30 years. First of all, the
airlines will not let a dog travel in this one even though it says "airline approved". The bolts that hold the crate together are plastic...airlines want metal bolts. You can't replace the plastic bolts with metal ones because of the way the crate is constructed.
Secondly, the door did not fit correctly and the latch was hard to operate. It was a task to get the door posts to move up and down in order to open and close the door.

So, if you want a decent, durable, "airline approved" crate, just buy a Doskil at your Walmart store. I think they are near the quality of a Vari-Kennel, but for a better price. Forget the Remmington or you may get to the airport and find out your dog can't go with you...like I did!!!!

This crate was a great price. You have to be careful when latching it to make sure both the upper and lower pins go into the holes, or the door can easily be pushed open. I would have liked the latch to be a little sturdier and easier to latch. But its still a good product for the money.

The carrier was a great price and I picked it up at the store for free. It's ease to assemble yet the toggle type clips are secure. The only draw back is that there is no handle on top because it is a large crate. The front overhang makes the front easy to pick up, but an indentation should be put at the back of the crate to pick it up and move it around when the dog is not in it. The handle was very convenient for that on the smaller crates.

My female Boxer HATES to be left home alone. But there are obviously times where she can't go everywhere with us. We had a wire crate but she would constantly break out of it and even had begun to tear it apart which is very dangerous.
I purchased the Large size of this crate and it is MORE than spacious for my 50lb Boxer. And... she can't break out of it!
It's lightweight but sturdy and very easy to assemble and clean. And if you're shopping at Petco/Petsmart... you can't beat this price!! Definitely would recommend!!
