With a little practice the scooter is alot of fun. I bought it for my 9 year old daughter, but we ride on it together (we do not exceed the weight limit). The front steering is a bit touchy(beware of the gravel), but you get the feel for it the more you ride it. I would recommend this product, but strongly suggest parent supervision and protective gear.
