I bought this shredder to securely discarding the documents that have personal information such as account numbers, home addresses and phone numbers in them. I don't have to shred large documents. I just shred bank statements, and some other documents that have personal information on them. I don't need to shred 8 pages at a time but I have shredded 2-3 pages simultaneously of bank statements that are much heavier than the regular copy sheets. I had no problem shredding them. I also shredded small checks and other size papers. So far I had no problems in shredding whatever I tried. So, I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

The Royal shredder is an excellent product that more than meets our needs for a home shredder.

This shredder is just for home use. You do have to empty it frequently as the bin is small. For the $ you can't go wrong! It does the job :) Also, I suggest the oil that goes with it!

Works great and shreds everything. I was most impressed that it shredded staples. It is a small shredder but does the job of a larger one. It is the perfect size for a home shredder or small office.
It's great to ever give as a gift. Easy to use and easy to clean. It has a small window on it for you to view and empty when it's full. A definite must have shredder.

A few years ago I purchased a Royal shredder in one of your stores. That shredder had the "confetti" shredding and I loved it. I paid less for that one than I did for this one. They are/were great little shredders for the home. I noticed that the ones with "confetti" shredding were a lot more expensive but the one I purchasd a few years ago was less expensive than anything I found online at your site this time. That's a shame because the "confetti" shredding is a lot safer than even the crosscut. Anyway, still like this little shredder and it is not as noisy as my old one. I gave this a value rating of 3 because the cost has nearly doubled in just 1 yr.

Very easy to install, connect, and use. Automatic feature is perfect, and has not exhibited any jam tendencies. Have smoothly shredded over 2 basket full quantities of collected items accumulated to be shredded to date. (We get a lot of personal paper items that need to be shredded.)
We're very much pleased with our purchase! We recommend it to anybody needing to protect personal information in paper/plastic (credit-card, etc.) form, but not meant to be casually discarded in the trash!
