Be aware of your baby's movements with the Summer Infant - Day and Night Baby Video Monitor. It allows you to see your baby through the five-inch black-and-white screen that includes three channels. This health and safety monitor features 900 MHz technology for transmitting information over a 350-feet range with clarity. You can hear even slight baby sounds, to stay abreast of baby's needs. It comes with a carry handle for easy portability, while the built-in camera has night vision for safe viewing overnight. You can either place the Summer Infant baby monitor on a tabletop, or mount it on the wall for your convenience.

I bought this Video Monitor to watch my farm animals when they were ready to give birth. It worked the 350 ft. So much easier than going to check on the animals every 2 hours or so.

i got this for my 15 year old dtr who is disabled and has seizures which occur most frequently while she is sleeping for 15 years i have had to sleep with her to monitor for seizures and i have to constantly check on her thru out the day and night if we are not in the same room seizure monitors cost way too much for me so i decided to try a cheaper alternative this baby monitor and it works amazing im so happy and now i can finally have freedom to sleep in my bed its ok if i accidentally fall asleep on the couch i dont have to get up every 5 to 10 min to check on her i can finally exhale and relax a little bit with the peace of mind of seeing her right in front of me and being able to hear her as i am hard of hearing the volume and picture on this are excellent day and night im absolutely thrilled than you god for allowing me to finally have some peace of mind i dont know why it took me 15 years to think of this i feel so stupid now so to any1 considering this for needs like i have it is an excellent choice and much cheaper than seizure monitors and for a baby it would be excellent as well as i have raised 5 children and have many grandchildren this would have been great to have when they were little its so good you could use this for any type of surveillance you want to achieve i would recommend this to anyone i have read the reviews on here so i dont know how long this will last because i just got it but no matter i will always have one of these no matter how many times i may have to replace it because it is exactly what we have needed for 15 years now

love being able to see my baby in her room day or night clear picture. picture doesnt seem to be affected by any interfearnce like sometime with audio. can hear great even on low volume. can use audio without video.

I bought this to keep an eye on my disabled son, 51. He was very sick and congested and I kept getting up to check on him and was afraid that i might not hear if he choked. Someone told me about this product and it could not be more perfect.
I have had him at home for almost 7 years and I wish I would have known about this. I don't have to wake him up to go in the room to check.
Great product and not just for babies.....

it is a great monitor i didnt even know it had night vision till i bought it the screen is a nice size too it is money well spent my husband and i wanted something where we could see our daughter but the outer ones are too expensive this is perfect we have had ours for a year and it still works like the day we brought it home. hope this helps, good luck

Here are my gripes
1) SO BRIGHT! Omg the screen is so bright it kept me up ALL NIGHT. My babe slept better in his room... But I slept 100 times worse! ALSO so bright I could barley look at it in the middle of thr night bc/ my eyes were adjusting to the dark.

2) Poor sound IF you use as sound soother... We use a sound soother machine (white noise) but I cant here my Lo cry. I have a Sony (non video) monitor and I can hear him crying clear as day between the white noise bc/ the difference in the pitch. I cannot hear him on this monitor so I had to use BOTH!
3) Holy cow the screen is huge.. The actual screen is a good size (like this) but its like a 80s tube TV huge. It almost doesn't fit on my night stand! I cant imagine those who are taking this from room to room.

I had an older Summer Monitor that worked great for 4 years. The on/off button stopped on our old monitor so we purchased this newer model. Not only is it much larger the picture on the screen at night is terrible. I have moved the monitor around our room, but nothing seems to help. There was a notice in the box that states " DO NOT RETURN UNIT TO THE STORE. PLEASE CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT *** OR EMAIL THEM AT ***. Of course customer service is closed on weekends, so I will contact them on Monday to see what I need to do to return this thing.

I bought this because my husband has Alzheimer's and I needed something for night time hours as I sleep in the other room. Now I can listen for him if he should get up in the night or need any other kind of assistance. I love the fact that now I don't have to jump up every time I think I hear him moving around. I set the camera on the dresser pointing towards the bed and the monitor next to my bed. I can hear him through the night and turn on the video with the quick view button to see what is happening. The mic picks up even the slightest sounds and the video screen is large enough to give me a good picture of the area he is in. I'm am extremely happy with it. Works great!

the picture quality was ok, but it doesn't do half of the things other monitors do. and it broke after about a week.

I bought this item because of needing to keep an eye on a very ill family member while in another room, the first week it worked like a charm then instantly the camera just QUIT, will not start and I cannot find out how to get my money back. I love Walmart, but this was awful.

I had to buy a new one after only four months of use, but i did buy another because it is worth the money to me...the picture is great, even in the dark - you cant tell its dark in the room. the sound is amazing, i could hear people talking from other rooms through it!

I bought this so that I didnt have to open the door to check on my toddler as I was transitioning him to his new bed. Clear night vision pic and great mic. Easy to adjust and put anywhere. I love that it has 3 channels so I can add another camera to the nursery when his little brother gets here.
