Bought this product for our 7 year old daughter. She loved it and so do we. Is a great product for the price and would buy it again if i needed it. Was easy to put together took no more than an 30 minutes for me and husband to place together.

I got this bed for my 2 year old and put a guard rail on it. It works well for her. You can tell it's not super sturdy, as it's not made of real wood. But for the price you pay for it, it's a good value and we'll get many years of use out of it.

I ordered this bed along with the matching dresser and nightstand for my almost 3-year-old's new "big girl" room and after reading mixed reviews, I was extremely pleasantly surprised especially with the low price and it coming from Wal-Mart! This bed, when put together correctly like my husband did, is extremely sturdy, beautiful detail and finish, and could definitely last for many years! My daughter loves her new bed. My only suggestion, as someone else mentioned, is to add some slats for the mattress support. We are using just a mattress so she will be low to the ground, but if you used a box spring, it would be fine. Highly recommended!

I ordered this bed for my 10 year old daughter. It is a nice sized bed. I put it together my self and it took me about 45 minutes and that's because I am not a handy person. Instructions were very easy and only needed a phillips screwdriver because they supplied the other tool. My daughter likes the bed and I really like the design. Overall...it is a nice bed.

It looks nice, but it is extremely poorly made. Seeing other reviews stating that is a great deal for the money has me wondering if we are talking about the same bed. The side rails are in 2 sections, the supports for the slats screw in with cheap wood supports that split. There is also a wood support that screws under the middle of where the side rail connects that you continually kick when you make the bed. I bought 2 beds for our vacation home. They have only been slept on 4 times and already I have broken slat/rail supports.

The design of this bed looks nice. The actual manufactured parts are less than nice. Poor construction making for a loose product. I'm going to re-enforce this in several areas to make sure my 5 year old doesn't have parts break or give way. You don't see in the picture all the little support pieces under the bed which make it very hard to move the bed without breaking them. They screw under the side boards and middle slat. Poor qulaity all around.

I bought this bed for my 5 year old daughter, because I was afraid of spending a lot of money on a bed that may end up getting banged up. I'm sort of regretting that I didn't spend a little bit more on another bed that I saw somewhere else that was of a better quality.
I didn't see any "beaded" detail that the description mentions, but it was easy to assemble. I think I'm going to have to get a couple of more support slats for it, though.
Overall, my daughter likes it, so that's the most important thing to me. She feels like a big girl in her new bed.

I used the Ship to Store and it came within the right time frame. This bed is for my 4 yr old. This bed is great! And high! My husband set it up within one hour. Only because one of the legs wasn't screwing in correctly so he had to work with that for awhile. That was the only small problem we had but after, everything fit together nicely.
I think it's very sturdy. I worried a bit because there was only 3 board to support the bed but after adding a boxspring it doesn't seem as fragile anymore. I really hope this bed can last into her tween years. Great bed for the price.

+ That is a good quality bed. + Very easy to assemobe. + Made with strong materials which is important considering that most of the modern furniture is made from pressed cellulose (paper). - The only drawback is that the cross beams, the ones that support the mattress are too wide apart. The mattress falls through. In fact I had to cut 4 more pieces of playwood at the Lowe's and lay them on the frame.

I bought this bed for my apartment at college. I wanted something relatively cheap that looks good. All the other bed frames that resemble this look cost a lot more money. I thought it is a great value for my money! It was fairly easy to put together. Took a total of about 30 minutes with a friend's help. I did encounter a problem though; one of the bedposts did not fit properly into the headboard and had to shave part of it in order to make it fit. Once that was done, everything fit together nicely. Also, the wood can dent easily so I recommend care. I used the site to store shipping method and there was little damage, hardly noticeable. I do recommend either a box spring or a piece of wood to lay on the slats because there are only 3 slats for support.
