Very nice product for the price. Very sturdy and solid for a pressed wood product. Instructions easy to follow. The only problem I have is when putting on what I would call the leg pads or supports the screws will crack the leg. I suggest to leave them off. Otherwise I was very pleased with product.

Complicated Construction

We received the desk, but when trying to assemble it, realized that there were no instructions. So, we had to place calls and research the manufacturer to get instructions to assemble the desk.
It took a while to finish it, and the many different screws that are needed make it confusing. But, the finished product is what we were expecting and meets our needs!

This is a good deal!
The desk is very beautiful. My wife likes it much.
It is easy to assemble, not so difficult as someone said. It took me about 1.5hour. However, some pins are not at accurate positions and drawers are a little bit bigger than they should be so that you need to make them a little smaller to make them worked smoothly.

I have purchased many products from Sauder before, and have had great results. However, this one is not remotely up to their normal standards. The side piece split when the legs were attached with the screws, and once that happened, the piece can no longer be put together. Additionally, several of the cam screws were coated in plastic, but the plastic splits and comes apart, and then the pieces connected by the cams no longer fit together. While the desk picture is nice looking, and the price is great, I am now sitting with a number of pieces which can never be put together.
Sauder needs to rethink this piece or remove it from the market.

This desk is pretty much everything I expected for the price plus a little more. I was actually surprised at the weight of it. It is quite heavy which is probably good because it should be sturdier that way. The only problem I have, and it is not really due to the manufacturing but more due to my clumsy husband who doesn't know his own strength, but when he was turning it over on its back to put the "feet" on the legs the one side split and the screws popped out. So BE CAREFUL when you have reached this step! Obviously do not let the weight of the desk hang from the front legs. Support the desk from the top, as I would have if I was the one putting it together! Good luck! Now I have to work on getting replacement parts.

The desk was so much more then I expected. It looks like it cost hundreds of dollars. I am very pleased with the quality and the looks . The durability and expennsive look make it conducive to work on my masters. It was worth the price.

got this on sale, and it more than meets my expectations. Very nice looking, and sturdy. I wanted a spare desk for when the grandchildren come over and it looks very nice in the spare room. It took my son-in-law about 1 1/2 hours to put together. Very pleased with this desk.

Despite the reviews about the time-consuming assembly, most of the reviewers agreed that it was worth it in the end and I felt exactly the same. I LOVE the look of the desk. Nobody would guess that I paid $69 for it at Walmart. It took my ex-husband about 2 hours to put together and yes, the legs did split a little when he was putting the protectors on, but a quick swipe with a dark Sharpie covered it right up. Overall, it's a great-looking, functional desk that is just the right size for a laptop work space. Some people didn't care for the drawers, but I actually like them.

I bought this desk, not knowing what to expect for the price, but when we got it, I was surprised to see how well this was made and the quality for the price! the desk is a nice size and feels very Sturdy and not cheap by any means. I would highly recommend.

Bought this desk on sale and was totaly worth it! Took about 2 hours to assemble but is put together solidly. Once assembled the desk is solid and looks like you bought it at a furniture store! Only down side is because of the faux wood it scratches easily and shows drastic marks.... Over all though very happy and will by brand again!

This is an excellent piece. It takes time to assemble but not more than 5 hours if you follow the instructions and another person to help. It is very sturdy and looks very nice. Arrived home before the promised date and in excellent condition.

looks like a great desk but we are still waiting to see. several parts broke as my husband was putting it together so had to order replacement parts from the manufacture. the good thing is the manufacture will replace parts for free with free shipping. overall, it looks like it will be a good desk. it does not take as long to put it together as other people have posted. I believe we have 2 hours of work into it.
