This is a poor successor to an earlier model from Farberware. This can't be filled through the spout really, and it's quite difficult to hold open and pour when removing from the stove with a pot holder wrapped around the handle. Doesn't anyone actually try out products before manufacture for heaven's sake? Looks cute though. I'll now go shopping for another brand which is also functional.

The product overall is good, the only thing I didn't expect, is the supposedly rubber handle that should not heat up much..it actually gets as hot as a steel handle.

Yes, it looks nice, but the stainless steel is very thin making it not worth the price. Main complaint is that the pull ring to lift & open the whistle top is a bad design. It is very uncomfortable on the finger and too hard to pull. For the price it should have been better designed. Helps if you grasp the handle toward the back a bit to give better leverage to pull the ring. It does have a very loud whistle. The pour spout works well...does not drip. Impossible to judge these issues ordering online without repeated trials and returns to end up with a reasonable choice.

It's great if you have a lot of things going on and sometimes forget you have the water cooking. I use it to preheat water I'll need later during dinner as it keeps it hot for an extended period.

Initially when I ordered this Tea Kettle I was skeptical but when it arrived and I started using it I was blown away by the huge amount of water it can fit inside of it, enough for 5-8 cups of tea/water for coffe.
Simply amazing, would buy again =)

This replaced a Kitchenaid one we had. So far it's been great: boils really fast, easy to clean. Hopefully it will continue to be easy to clean, since our old Kitchenaid was too hard to clean inside or out.

Overall nice kettle, but description online is wrong. The box it came in says 2 Qt. not 2.5 Qt. I measured to be sure. You can only put 2 quarts of water in it, otherwise you would be going over the spout level. Online description should be corrected.
