Audio Unlimited 900MHz Wireless Stereo Headphones

These headphones are great for viewing the TV without disturbing others around you. I like the volume feature to crank it up when I need to. The sound is clear and consistent. I love the fact that the headphones can be charged easily by placing it on the stand without having to hassle with batteries. I liked the wireless feature and range it provides so that I can move around the house without the constraints of wires like you have with other headphones. I'm very pleased with the product and loved how easy it was to set up and use within minutes.

I am very happy with this product,with the exception of one thing. And this is the main reason I purchased this. It does not work with my laptop. The jacks supplied do not fit my Toshiba Laptop. That is not to say that it is not compatible with any other laptop. And it works beautifully with everything else, T.V. Stereo, DVD, etc. Altough it would of been nice had there been a listing of products that it was or was not compatible with. Otherwise, I am very pleased with my purchase.

The product is ok. There is an annoying humming sound if you turn it too high. However, I bought it for my husband to use while I sleep at night. He often wakes up at night and can't go back to sleep without watching some TV. That has worked out well for that purpose and I have used it too. I would recommend the product.

The headphones have good range. The base is located in my basement.

I can walk around the house and into the garage with little interference.

Sound is good although I'd like a little more bass.

If you're looking for an inexpensive headphone set, look no further.

I received the package site-to-store in only 3 days. It worked great, and now I can cook, mow the lawn, etc as I'm listening to the news. I can even stay up late and watch anthing with blazing sounds without waking everyone in the house! The price is just right.

These headphones were everything that I expected, they sound great and are comfortable. I am happy that I bought them and would highly recommend them.

I liked the easy set up, the fit, the range, and the price. I did not like the constant hum (squeal?) in the background. If you turn up the volume loud enough it would mask the hum, but with my normal hearing and at a normal volume level, I could always hear a constant hum. The hum is produced by the electronics in the headphones (maybe the amplifier?). I disconnected the sound source and could still hear the hum and if I increased the volume the hum would get louder. Perhaps it was some interference being picked up, but I tried moving the transmitter to various places and turning off my other electronics. Nothing helped. Maybe I got a bad apple. I did not try to replace it or call customer support. I just returned it.

I have now tested two alternatives, the Sony MDR-RF970RK and the Sennheiser RS120. Neither had any hum and both sound good. The Sony RF970's had much more limited range than the Sennheiser and have occasional interference (crackles). The Sennheiser RS120's have great range and almost no interference. The Sennheiser RS120's are on-the-ear style headphones and are very loose and I didn't really like the way they fit. They will slip off almost any time you tilt your head -- do not plan on using them while doing chores around the house (definitely not while you are washing dishes or they will probably fall off in the sink). The Sony RF970's are around-the-ear (enclosing) style headphones and have a comfortable fit that feels mostly secure. You can easily do chores (and a little dancing) and not be too worried about them falling off. I chose the Sony RF970's because of the fit. If the Sennhieser RS120's had a better fit then they would have been the easy choice because of their superior sound and range. I understand the alternative and much more expensive Sennheiser RS140's are around-the-ear style and might be perfect except for the price.

Getting the headphones connected and working went well - considering my old TV didn't have audio outplugs! Used the VCR plugs and it works fine even if I'm not in the same room but just want to hear. Tried them outside with mixed results but not really a concern. Now I can hear when I watch something other than my wife's shows or even watching the same.

These headphones are FANTASTIC!! The sound quality is excellent and they're comfortable. I use them to watch tv when I'm working out on the treadmill or bicycle and it's much better than having to blast the sound. Highly recommended.
