Ive had this tv for 3 years now, and it is still working and looking as good as day 1. Now it is even cheaper than when I originally bought it--what a deal!! I would recommend this tv to anyone who doesnt mind a modest-sized, high quality screen. On a side note Ive also dropped it a few times and it still works the same.

Emerson makes a great product. The only reason I did not like this product is that it is too small. I'll take the hit on that one, I should have put a little more research into it. Unless you are watching it from a distance of 6 feet or less, the screen appears to be too small. I have an Emerson 22" that has been in service for a little over 3 years, and it still performs like a champ. I would recommend Emerson, just not the 19".
The great news is that Wal-Mart gladly refunded my money just because I was not satisfied with the product.

We purchased this a month ago and everything was running smoothly, then yesterday it completely stopped working! When I tried to turn the tv back on, it made this annoying buzzing sound, no picture, no sound. Returned it to walmart today and they replaced it with a Vizio 19 inch, just had to pay the difference. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

I'm not sure what other people say about this, but I have really enjoyed this TV set. I have had it over 3 1/2 years and it has done a beautiful job. Just like anything else, if you take care of it, it will last for quite some time. This one will undoubtedly last for many more years to come. You will not be disappointed.

Good for a bedroom

Originally this was going to replace my big round tv in the living space, but the picture and sound was too small for that type of room. We moved it into the bedroom instead and it is perfect there. Takes up little space, picture quality is superb, sound is perfect in a bedroom - but in a living room it would be insufficient. Very pleased, well worth the deal you pay for it $$.

I've had exactly 3 weeks...line across screen. I'm finding out now that it is a known problem for quite a while. Probably why it has a good price. Bringing back to Walmart. I will post endeaver in returning. I think this product should've been pulled long ago. I see many others with complaints when searching "line across screen". Don't buy it until this problem is resolved!!!

This was a good tv till a few weeks after purchase. At first the picture was awesome...even better than our 47" Sony in the living room, but just after a few weeks the pictures started going bad. At the top of the screen the color fades in and out darker if you are watching something that's dark. We are taking it back. Hopefully the replacement doesn't do the same thing!

ive only had this tv 1 day but picture is very good for being low priced and the sound is VERY LOUD if people say it isnt then they must have bad hearing i can turn it only half way up and hear it in my garage from my living room i didnt expect the sound to be so good for a small tv its louder then my 22in vizio nothing i dislike yet

At first I loved this tv. Great picture and sound + built in dvd player. Then 3 months later the tv completely died. One day I went to turn the tv off and it made a "pop" noise when it turned off and then began to make a buzzing noise. The buzzing noise would not stop until you physically unpluged the tv. And as soon as you try and plug the tv back in, the buzzing noise starts up again. None of the buttons work on the remote or the tv to turn it back on. Like I said, its DEAD! When i called funai for their customer service, after telling them my model number they said this model of tv has a special warning and they cant help me and I must call Emerson's customer service (i am assuming that is because they are having multiple issues with this model). I as still trying to deal with Emerson to get them to hopefully repair/replace/reimburse my 3 month year old TV!
Dont waste your money! This tv is a huge dissappointment!

I bought this TV on a Saturday and by the following Wednesday it stopped working. What a waste of money. Took it back to Walmart and got a 32 inch Sanyo for a 150.00 more. Do not and i repeat DO NOT waste your money!!!

valuable lesson learned with this purchase: don't buy a tv on line. it should be viewed in store to assure the picture quality is as expected. i actually had a better quality picture on the 12 year old analog that i was replacing. i have satellite and the only way i MIGHT be able to receive a better quality pic is if i upgrade to an hd receiver, with an added cost of $ 100.00. not worth it!
