Very Disappoinint printer,

I purchased this printer and had it replaced twice before giving up on this model. The first time the printer cartridges would not connect properly and so the printer continually read the cartridge as "Not Present". THe replacement for that printer never made it past it start-up rotine (power light flashing), but it was a "good mannered" printer and always "Welcomed" me to HP. HP support tryed a few things and gave up offering to send me another (rebuilt) printer, in exchange for the never used printer I just purchased (I find the rebuilt exchange silly). If I wanted a used printer I could have found one on eBay.

This is a very good product. I am very pleased with this purchase. Just make sure that you follow all directions when hooking up this printer to your computer. If you follow the directions you should not have any problems at all. I had it hooked up and printing in a very short time. I suggest that you use a good quality paper.

I got this printer about a month and a half agao and i was really impressed. Prints good even on normal paper which is nice. And the wireless feature is really nice. I just got a hp laptop and its nice to take it anywear in the house and beable to print. Overall a great printer even for photos.

I bought this to replace a piece of junk Epson printer. So far this printer is everything all the positive feedback has said. It was VERY east to install (I use a mac). The wireless feature is wonderful! Now I'm just waiting to see how long the ink cartridges last. I've printed quite a bit already (casual home use) so I'm happy.
One minor problem I came across in printing labels, it didn't recognize the labels as scheduled to print from my mac, but it would recognize from my hubby's PC. Might have to check my settings to be sure they are set correctly.
Haven't tried the scanner yet. The copier works great.
As others have observed, the paper feed does tend to be on the noisey side.
The price of $114 was quite the deal for this printer.

I would reccomend this printer to everyone. The step by step instructions made the installation a breeze. I had no trouble installing at all. Remember, if you are trying to install via wireless, you need to have wireless already for your computer! Also, make sure firewall is turned ON.
The printer makes you do a test print and a test photo. I have to say, the photos look just like they were printed at the store. Great quality!
It's nice and quite, the ink is easy to install, and the screen is very helpful. All in all, it's a great buy!

very frustrating to get this to print a single piece of paper and when it does it jams the paper and makes it seem like its your fault its like impossible to jus print something and get off the printer in a few minutes it takes you forever because its keeps jaming paper and when it do print it print from ending to beginning. worst priner ever DO NOT GET THIS PRINTER YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.

I purchased this product hoping that the reviews I had read about it were true because I am not a computer whiz and hooking this up to a wireless network sounded scary. But, the directions were very easy to follow, the CD that was included guided me along and I was able to complete my wireless hookup. When I printed the test picture after installing the ink I was totally amazed. The color was astounding!!! I am very happy with this product and the price I paid was good.

We have a wireless router for our three household computers, so this printer was a welcome addition to the wireless family. No problem installing - just followed instructions and within minutes was printing from another room. I have not been able to scan and send from the printer to my computer but can start the scan from my computer and it works ok. I have not tried the solutions center for this yet. Pictures print great. Copies are good. Overall no problem. I love the printer.
