Great bike for the buck, 08/04/2009

This is perfect for children who love Thomas the Tank Engine. Our son just loves his Thomas bike! We love that the training wheels can be set higher or lower for beginners or more advanced riders. The seat also raises pretty far to allow for taller tikes. This bike was fairly easy to put together as well: a bonus for parents.

I bought this bike when my son was 18mos only because it was on sale. Now hes 3 and loves this bike by the time he was 2 1/2 he was able to fully ride the bike. Its made of metal. the only downfall i had was the front thomas plate that goes on the handle bars. I didn't put that on only because it came with zip ties and it was really hard to attach. If your child is a Thomas fan then i would definitely recommend this bike. Everything is perfect about it

Great bike for your Thomas fan!, 03/23/2009

We got this as an early birthday present for our son who's turning 4 in May. The main reason we picked this bike of course is because our son is a Thomas fan. The other reasons were the price and that it's eligible for site to store shipping. We love free shipping and this came in no time. When we picked it up, our son squealed in delight when he saw the box. It was very easy to assemble. I am 35 weeks pregnant and I did it myself. I volunteered to do it since I love assembling things and it was my first time to assemble a bike. I had my husband tighten the quick release lever for the seat since that was the only attachment that required strong force without the use of tools. The manual was a bit confusing at first since it's for a wide range of models but after I located the sections applicable to this model, it was OK. I only had to use one tool- a wrench. It's a sturdy bike that's worth your money and it looks great too. Our son was riding it that very afternoon.
