I have a full blooded pit bull. He has always no matter how much or what kind of food he ate been slender where his ribs showed. I thought that was just how he was because no matter how much I fed him it didn't change then I switched a couple of months ago to this kind of food & in maybe 2 mths he has put on so much weight. He looks so much healthier & his coat is soft & thick & shiny! It's undescribable how much he has improved! Definitly strongly recommend this especially if you have a dog who has a hard time maintaining weight like mine. The price is inexpensive & well worth it.

I have been a buyer of Ol' Roy products for awhile. This dog food is great for my adult dog, he has allergies and Ol' Roy is the brand for him. I have a pup as well and she loves it to. She has put on weight and can tell a difference in her coat. Great product at a good price.

I thought this stuff was great, healthy and affordable. Oh yea it's cheap not very good though! First it says that it's high protine, but ALL of that protien in it is not able to be soaked into the dogs body. This is the food that lead to digestive problems with my dog. After taking my dog to the vet and talking to her about the food I HAD him on, I will never have him back on this food. I will never use this brand again.

50 #, 3 dogs, 5 weeks and they haven't gone through half the bag yet...we mix the dry with the Old Roy wet food and the dogs actually run into the house at feeding time o get to their food...

Worked wonders on my Mastiff's skin

I have an English Mastiff and they are known for skin issues, she has very dry skin, I have been feeding her regular Ol' Roy so I tried the high-performance, and she loves it, she still had a little bit of the original left, after I mixed the two together she picked through and ate just the high-performance, and after only a week I can see a huge difference in her skin, I would recomend it to anybody.

My dogs have enjoyed Ol' Roy for many years. I'm a senor and my problem was getting help when I got home to get the 50# bags up the stairs, NOW I order them and they are del. to my front door on my porch...no more stairs. And mainly, no more waiting for help. THANK YOU WALMART.

For me, it's convenience, especially when it comes to dog food. I could never lift a big bag. I get the supplies sooner then suggested every time.

I highly recommend Old Roy High Performance for any high energy dog! A few years ago, I almost lost my GSD! After taking him for a walk on a local walk path that ran parallel to a creek, which I often let him off the lead to play in, he must have encountered a deadly parasite! About a week later I noticed him dropping weight. I kept an eye on him and began feeding him double the food he normally ate and shared with my other dogs...but he became weaker and thinner! I bought a recommended de-wormer from the farm feed store and no change! He was dwindling to skin and bones!!! I gave him another dose of the de-wormer about a week later in despiration again and no change! I changed his dog food from another regular brand of dry dog food to OLD ROY HIGH PERFORMANCEand he miraculously began to gain his weight back! It did not take long, about a month, and he was back to his normal weight and size!!...Although the ordeal did seem to cause him to age prematurely. However, he is now the proud sire of his first litter of pups at 8 years old and has the energy of an adolescent! He looks great and I have not had any more problems with his health! I am not sure if his health problem was parasite related or his system was just not getting enough protein and fat for his size and energy level during his prime years or a combination of factors. Today, I swear by OLD ROY HIGH PERFORMANCE dog food! I just noted that it is also recommended for puppies! I bought a bag of Puppy Chow as it is important for Momma and pups to get the proper nutrition and I guess I can now mix the two and feel confident my German Shepherd Dogs and thier pups will be getting all the nutrients needed to live long and healthy lives!
I also noted my dogs stools to be firmer and healthier looking, and I feed them less in quantity!!! Although many people associate OLD ROY products as cheap dog food, I recognize it to be the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Do not let the price fool you! It is a wonderful dog food and I thank Wal-Mart for keeping it affordable for me with my Large Breed, High Energy GSD's! Otherwise, I would not be able to afford to keep my loving and faithful dogs as healthy as they both are today! I look forward to seeing my puppies thrive as well now that I know OLD ROY HIGH PERFORMANCE is veterinarian recommended for puppies too!!! If you have a high energy dog breed do not hesitate!! Try OLD ROY HIGH PERFORMANCE dog food TODAY!!! The size of the kibble allows for both large and smaller breeds too! My dogs do not often get canned food or scraps (only in the coldest days of winter) and seem to be quite happy with the taste too!!

I don't normally write reviews, but Ol'Roy High Performance is great! I first tried Ol'Roy over 10 years ago with my Boarder Collie and it was the only dog food that could keep up with her high energy. Other brands she would lose weight and always hungary, but not with Ol'Roy High performance. It kept her looking fit and her coat so shiny... she enjoyed having a very active life until the age of 17. Now I have 3 dogs, a Boxer, a mix miniture, and a Boxer/Lab mix... this food fits them all. I have been forced to try other foods with my dogs lately as my local store does not keep enough on hand to meet the demand for it and they always get real bad gas (especially my Boxer) but this does not have that nasty side affect that other brands cause. They look forward to breakfast time and unlike other foods that leave your pet wanting more, I leave food available from dawn to bedtime and they all eat moderately. My dogs love this food so much that they will turn there nose up at other brands (including Iams, Pedigree and Purina) until they are just too hungry and settle. I love this larger size!!! it is great, last my 3 dogs a full month and sometimes more. Thank you for making this available to order online, now I don't have to search 3 or 4 near-by stores to get there perfered choice of food everytime they start running low.... just jump online and it is here within the week. GREAT JOB, thank you. Highly recommended!!

Our dogs love Ol Roy..... We tried to get them to eat other expensive brands that claim they are healthier for the dogs, well my dogs all got sick from all those brands. We switched back to Ol Roy and havent had a problem since.... When we give our puppies to new homes they all go home with a bag of Ol Roy (puppy formula of course!) ..... Never seen a dog love their food as much as ours love Ol Roy !!!

My 1 year old lab mix shelter rescue dog really loves this food. He happily anticipates dinner time and vacuums down the food very quickly. He licks his bowl clean. His coat looks shiny and healthy and he gets energy that allows him to play with my three children for hours on end! Some food has been known to give him gas but Ol' Roy high performance doesn't. This size package is a great value and I wil contiune to buy this food for my dog! If Sam Walton's dog could eat it then so can mine!
