I bought this bedding set and was really pleased with it. It looked great and really made my bedroom look good. Until I washed it.. I washed and dried it according to the tag- machine wash cold separately tumble dry low- and it ruined it. It shrank up sooooo much and has 3 big burnt spots on it! DO NOT wash and dry this bedding! I am purchasing another one because I painted and decorated my bedroom from this set but I will be sure to handwash and line dry!

my husband and i really enjot this set . . i actually seen it in a store before i seen it online . . we just moved and wanted a nice neutral bedset and as we were walking down the aisle in walmart and it caught our eyes at the same time . . its a great value for the money . . ive seen alot of complaints about it snagging and bulging, but i dont have such problems because i take mine to the cleaners . . the color however does appear to be a winter green but it is actually an olive color but i love it . .

I have been looking at this set for over a month and today decided to order it online because the internet says it isn't available at my local store (I found out an hour ago that is not true. It IS available in my store. So check yours before buying online). When I saw this set in the store the color is NOT the dark green/sage color that the picture shows. It is indeed a lime green just as others have reviewed. After reading that in the reviews I thought the lime green would be ok, but after seeing it in the store there is no way. The lime green makes it cheap looking. I am so disappointed; this set looks like a great deal online, but once seen in person the bright lime color totally ruins it! Also, I was able to feel the comforter, and other reviewers are correct. It is a material that will VERY easily snag! No pets would be able to get on this comforter without pulling it apart and it might not be the best set for an active kid. BH and G should change this color to the sage/dark green color in the picture and this set would be awesome! (To give you a better picture of the set in lime green, just picture the solid, colored green accent pillow and dust ruffle a BRIGHT lime green.)

My husband bought me this for my birthday (12/19) and it's falling apart already. The comforter has hair balls all over it and it tearing. I have not even put it in the washing machine yet. A button came off one of the pillows immediately and the bed skirt is ripping and not holding up well at all. I am going to take it back this week and look for one with superior quality. I surely wouldn't have expected this from Better Homes and Gardens.

I really liked the look of the product. I washed the sheets before I put them on the bed. First problem: I had to sew up about 4" of the hem on the flat sheet. I'm not sure if that was there already or if it came apart in the washer. The shams also are coming apart after washing (around the seams). There was a stain on one of the pillows. That should have been a sign to send it back. I bought this because it said machine washable. I'm afraid if I wash the comforter it will fall apart. I can't believe Better Homes and Gardens put there name on this product. I looked at a lot of bed-n-bag sets before I ordered this one. I just blew $100.00.

I bought this product and returned it the next day. I am surprised that more people did not find that the comforter was of poor quality as it snagged very easily just by gliding your hand over it. (Maybe some where made from different material. )I loved the design and color of the comforter but the bed skirt was a lime green and did not match the picture. Was very disappointed.

I am very pleased with my Palm Leaf Bed in a Bag. It is a very nice set for the value. The only thing, which wasn't such a big deal, the green is a little different color than what reflects on the online picture of it. I was thinking it was more of a sage green, but its actually a darker lime color. Very pleased through with this purchase. The comorter is really nice and thick!

This bed set truly is an amazing deal for what you pay and what you get. The only complaint that I have is the comforter can snag kind of easy and I would probably call it "fragile". But other than that, it is amazing. It is so beautiful and the accent pillows make you feel like you have a bed straight out of the catalog photos. I recommend this set but be careful with jewelry, hang nails and dog claws on the comforter.

The comforter, bedskirt and pillows were fine. Loved the material of the comforter. I was very disappointed in the quality of the sheets. After a few nights the bottom sheet started pilling or getting balls. They have continued to get worse. The top sheet and pillow case have not done this yet. I have washed the set several times. I am surprise that BH&G would put out a sheet set of this poor quality. I have not seen this problem addressed in other reviews. I purchases my conforter set at my local Walmart. I would have taken the set back but the comforter was fine and I really liked the way it look. Wished I'd read the review of making the sheet into window treatments. That would have worked because the green color is hard to match. I have discontinued using the sheets. It was like sleeping on crumbs. I will have to trash the bottom sheet. I am so disappointed in the quality of the sheets. Maybe my set was the only one of poor quality or others have not used their sheets regularly.

Purchased this bedding set for a new mattress. I originally purchased a 12 piece set from bed bath and beyond. I liked it in the package, but the quality of appearance and material was mediocre. I bought this set then as a replacement. The product is much brighter in color than the picture depicts. The colors are rich and the craftsmanship is good. The jacquard fabric gives the pieces a nice 3 dimensionality as well as a slightly different appearance at different angles. The comforter is soft and appropriately weighted for warmer and cooler months. I am not using the sheets, I am having the sheet set made into matching window treatments. Any cream/ivory colored sheet set will do, and sateen stripe is a nice complement. I would recommend this product to anybody from high-brow shoppers to somebody looking for bedding in a kids room.

Great product! The sheets looked white on the computer screen but are really a light tan color. It looks wonderful! The comforter is soft to the touch and keeps you toasty! I washed the sheets before I put them on the bed and there was no fading or bleeding. The throw pillows are an absolute asset to the beauty and elegance with this set. The price is an absolute bargain! I looked at other stores and the prices ranged between $250 and $469 for the same pattern, and didn't come with the pillows. I love that it works with my pillow top queen bed! An absolute buy if you're looking for great quality and a reasonable price.
