I put this in a recessed area in a small kitchen. It does not let out enough light to cover the cooking area below. If you install on a flat standard ceiling or over a sink or something then it will most likely be enough light .

We purchased this light fixture to replace an old fluorescent lighting box in our kitchen. This light is easy to install and provides a lot of light. It looks much more expensive than $30 and we're thinking of getting another for our hallway. Just be sure to get the correct type of lightbulbs for this fixture!

Even though this light did meet my expectations and was reasonably priced, it appears to be made for a flat ceiling; therefore, did not accommodate my slanted ceiling. As far as i could tell, Walmart does not sell an adapter.

I bought this light for our laundry room and its gorgeous. The picture doesnt do its justice. A great buy for the price. It would look good just about anywhere. I put it in our laundry room because its a big room and I wanted to change the old light that was there. Its easy to put up, takes about 10 minutes. Very nice!
