This 720p model can fit in small spaces because it's only 2.5 inches deep. The tuner can receive conventional analog channels (NTSC), as well as digital channels (ATSC), including over-the-air HDTV broadcasts where available and unscrambled digital cable channels. Two HDMI ports and a variety of other inputs make it simple to connect DVD players, camcorders, digital cameras, and other gear. Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of an HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than a standard-definition TV. Please contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade to HD programming.

Fits perfect in the RV cabinet and pulls right out on the extender bracket (wall mount). Beautiful picture on the old RV antenna. The cheapest way to go from an analog tv to digital. No converter box needed. Will have to run it on a 12volt to 120volt converter when camping out in the wild.

I chose the VIZIO, 19 inch Flat Screen LCD. It had great reviews, and from what I saw in the stores, it has a beautiful, sharp HD picture. Walmart has a very liberal return policy- just in case. I would whole-heartedly recommend using the Walmart Site-to-Store option for a purchase. The price is less than in the retail store, the standard shipping is free, and it only takes a few days to receive. Online tracking is excellent!
When I got the set home, I opened the box and was immediately assaulted with a barrage of V.O.C.’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) coming from the TV, the remote, as well as the plasticized packaging and documentation. BUMMER! Within just a few minutes, my wife and I were suffering from red irritated eyes, nose, and throat. I needed to remove the set from the room and store it, and the box, in the garage.
I admit my wife and I are both sensitive to these kind of fumes, but we never thought a TV could affect us so radically. Perhaps the fumes would dissipate over time, but my wife was not willing to take the chance. I returned the set to Walmart.
The lighted VIZIO Logo may be OK and "blend in" to a living room or family room, but in a bedroom, it would be the last thing you would see before you went to sleep, and the first thing you'd see in the morning. Great for burning "Product Name Recognition" into your brain, but definitely annoying.

I have used the Vizio for two months with no problems, the sound has no bass but does the job. It is not my primary tv and I have no box, just hooked to the cable and the picture is very good, I haven't used it for a monitor so I couldn't say good or bad.

After reading the reviews I was a little concerned - many complained about the sound quality. But since everything else about this product seemed good, I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did! It's a great little TV and personally, I think the sound is fantastic. My only qualms are that I think it's an awful lot of money for such a little TV (though compared to everything else out there, clearly this is a bargain), and that the box it shipped in wasn't a generic Walmart box as I expected - it's a big box with a picture of the TV on it. It basically shouts "Come steal me! I'm a TV!" Luckily the building manager at my apartment was nice enough to put the package IN my apartment instead of letting it sit out in the hallway with all the other apartment packages to get stolen.

After much research, I purchased this tv for my mom, who is in a nursing home due to dementia. The remote is easy enough for her to use. The colors are vibrant and the sound has good quality. With the control buttons placed on the side of the set instead of on the front, they are not an easy target for inquisitive fingers. Mom loves it and so does everyone else! My aunt even went out and purchased one for herself!!

Previously I'd had an old 13" CRT set in the bedroom with indoor antenna -- didn't want to run a cable in there. Only got one VHF station well, a second one so-so. No UHF at all. Got rid of that some time ago. Since digital over the air is generally much more satisfactory, and this 19" Vizio has gotten so many good reviews, and has such a great price, I ordered one site-to-store. It came in a week or so and I must say I'm delighted with it in every way. It's in my bedroom and replacing a 19" widescreen monitor for my computer there. I get 16 digital channels over the air, 5 of them HD, on a $19 Philips folding antenna from Walmart, could probably get more with better antenna placement. It also works perfectly well as a computer monitor at 1360x768. Have my old VCR and a fairly new progressive-scan DVD player hooked up to it too, so it's sort of a mini home theater.
So impressed I recommended Vizio to my sister who was shopping for a 32" set. She just got hers a couple of days ago (also Walmart site-to-store) and loves it.

I expected a 5-star rated product and I was not disappointed.
Pros: Easy to setup and adjust; instructions very clear; good selection of inputs; on-screen display very easy to use; picture quality outstanding; many picture adjustments that should suit any and all; 720P is superb since this is the best anyway for DirectTV HD channels (1080i is maximum anyway unless you purchase HD DVR and watch pay per view movies) and 1080i will leave a small white line at the top of the screen - 720P just as clear to me and does not have the line;
Cons: only one - would like to have a RCA type audio output for wireless headphones; but, I knew it did not have this feature before I purchased the TV.
