This 720p model can fit in small spaces because it's only 2.5 inches deep. The tuner can receive conventional analog channels (NTSC), as well as digital channels (ATSC), including over-the-air HDTV broadcasts where available and unscrambled digital cable channels. Two HDMI ports and a variety of other inputs make it simple to connect DVD players, camcorders, digital cameras, and other gear. Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of an HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than a standard-definition TV. Please contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade to HD programming.

This is a very good tv for the money. I had it shipped to my home at no cost and it arrived by Fed Ex in 4 days. We were very pleased. Easy to set up and perfect size for a bedroom or kitchen. This is our second Vizio and we have had our other one for 2 years and no problems.

The picture quality is top notch. The sound quality is not so good, but then most flat-screened tv speakers are tinny compared to the old analog sets. Most of the newer ones have an analog audio out to connect to an external amp and speakers. The setup was excellent and steps you through the process after you connect to a cable or antenna source. You can adjust the color settings AFTER you read the manual carefully. I ended up calling the Vizio support number and showed me the procedure listed in the manual (I didn't read it thoroughly at first); a very courteous person stepped me through the process. Since I bought this Vizio, I also purchased a 32" Vizio with great results. I would definitely recommend their (Vizio) tvs to friends.

I purchased this television a couple of weeks ago and have been very pleased with the product. It's a good value, tunes in most of the channels well with an antenna, has an excellent picture, and when adjusted with more bass and less treble, a reasonably good sound for its size. It's a perfect TV for a bedroom or kitchen where a smaller screen is needed and preferred. Give it a try.

I read others' reviews before buying this product and saw that there had been several complaints about the tinny sound. I solved the problem by changing the sound setting to surround sound. It's not perfect -- but it could definitely be solved by hooking up a pair of external speakers. Otherwise, I think the product is a great buy for the price.

Very good picture and decent sound. We like the guide feature. A minor drawback is that the power and antenna cords come straight out the back instead of down, which requires about an inch of extra clearance from the wall, so mounting is not as flush as it could be. We are very happy with our new addition.
