One pushup handle in the package was broke. It was free turning and could not be adjusted or made to stop. When you shook it, there was a rattlling sound inside which indicated something broke. The pushup handle that was not broke did not seem it would hold up to too many pushups before having the same problem. This product or some of the components in the box are made with bad quality. I do not recommend it.

Overall this is a good product, it does what you buy it to do. Like everything in life it might have one flaw and it depends on what type of person you are for it to be a problem. For me, the problem was the push up stand. The push up stand has this thing you have to turn to unlock it and lock the stand from moving, it can be easily taken off by continuing to turn it as if you were trying to unlock it. Besides that it is perfect.

I chose this product because it looked sturdy, and I was not wrong either. a friend of mine bought the Iron gym version of the pullup bar and it is not very stable. It works for him (170 lbs), but with my large build (215 lbs) I wanted something that would stand up to how much force I would be putting on it. I use the pullup bar and pushup stands 3x a week and they are holding up just fine. I used the abstraps once just to try them out but I am doing the P90X workout and it does not use the straps. Overall great value could not find a better deal anywhere, and solid as a rock without drilling holes in the doorway.

Absolutely amazing value! Easy to set up and I could even use the slings when I was pregnant. I have a week or so before I can really start using it, but my boyfriend has been using the pull-up bar about once a day and it works great!!

Good Pushup & Pullup Set,

The pullup bar & arm straps met my expectations, and are very comparable to the "Iron Gym" product. The pushup handles are bulkier then they appeared, and the adjustable resistance is only good for completely unlocking or locking the rotation. If the handles are set for somewhere in between, they tend to loosen in one hand, and tighten in the other. When completely unlocked however, the resistance feels just right. I have tried the "Perfect Pushup Basic" ($20 in stores only; not sold online) which have rubber handles, but no lock. I like the rubber handles, but the "Perfect Pushup" rotates too easily, to the point where they rotate if your arms are shaking. Overall, I think I like the Gold's Gym pushup handles better than the "Perfect Pushup", but rubber handles would be nice.
