I feel so bad writing a poor review because I really have come to trust and love shopping Walmart.com. This product is simply flimsy and not very well made. In the end, it looks OK because all you can see with the valance I used are the ends. I do not recommend this product and it seems that a lot of the other reviews were dead-on and I chose to go for the price instead of the quality. The ends fall off very easily as the form and fit are barely close. There are various remedies like wrapping a piece of sticky tape around the inserted end of the decorative piece to maintain some friction so it holds. If you aren't interested is playing around with the fix I suggest moving on to another product. I still love Walmart... just not this product!

Does what you would expect. I didn't realize it came with a rod AND the things that holds the rod up, which I guess should have been expected. The only problem was that my screws couldn't go completely in the wall (I think there's a brick wall behind my window) so the whole thing is very shoddily held together, but that's my apartment's fault, not the products.

When you can't get the screws that come with a curtain rod all the way in the wall, all you need to do is go to a hardware store and buy a few screws. Take a screw with you to compare size and color, and select replacement screws that will work for your wall. There are screws made to go in concrete and brick, screws to go in metal, screws to go in wood, etc. If you go to Home Depot or Lowes you can buy individual screws, instead of a package containing more than you want or need.

I received this by site to store. I anxiously awaited for it to come and when it did it was bent and the box it came in was smashed like it was run over. It looked like the bow from a bow and arrow. It also was plastic but I guess I should have expected that for $10. I took it immediately to customer service and exchanged it for a better rod for the same price. Oh yea the little hook on the end is really little. If you can just go to the store. At least there you can inspect what you are purchasing. I do have to say thought returning it was really no problem. The pic below shows the rod I did get. It was on sale for $10 and was the 48"+ length.

The looks good. Drilling the holders into the wall didn't work that well. Stripped the screw. An additional screw to hold the rod in place doesn't fit... Word of advice, feel free to bend the holder back so you can drill the screws straight in. Once drilled in, bend to desired placement.
