This is a great set, but it's missing some key product details.

I love these knives, but there's more of a difference between the 10 piece set and the 8 piece set on Walmart.com and without product descriptions it's hard to tell.

Therefore: Here are the knives included in the 8 piece set:

2-3/4" Parer
4" Paring/Utility Knife*
5" Serrated Utility Knife
8" Bread Knife*
8" Chef's Knife
Kitchen Shears
Sharpening Steel
Wood Block with several extra slots (see picture).

*'ed Knives are unique to this set (don't appear in the 10 piece set.) (The big one for me is the bread knife.)

The following knives appear in the 10 piece set and are absent here in the 8 piece set:

3-inch paring
5-1/2-inch boning
5-inch hollow-edge santoku
6-inch utility

Which set you use is mostly preference. I actually went with one of each. But I needed two sets anyway and this will let me mix and match them as I need them.
