This is a hard to find a shower hanger. Most of the available hangers attach to the shower head. This one is perfect for a shower stall as it drapes over the shower wall/door and allows one to hang a towel or two immediately outside the shower, ready for when you step out. Two suction cups affix to the lower vertical wires allowing the hanger to be firmly attached to the wall. There are two adjustable height shelves allowing you to get the right height separation for your bottles.There are also hooks on the inside allowing one to hang washcloths. The only quibble I really have so far is that the soap dish is open ended at the back causing soap bars to easily slip through to the floor. I have not had the hanger long enough to determine if rusting, mentioned in other reviews, will be a problem.

My husband and I just picked up this item today at Wal-Mart. I started reading the reviews just a few minutes ago and it seems like everyone (or most folks) are praising it EXCEPT for the fact that it RUSTS. I'm going to get a can of clear spray paint (something like rustoleum) and completely spray the item BEFORE it goes into the shower. That should prevent it from rusting.

I love this chrome hanging shower caddy. It has plenty of room for shampoo bottles, soap, razors, a back brush and face cloths. I like the fact it hangs over the shower door or side panel and is out of the way of the shower head. The only problem with it is it has to be replaced every year as it rusts after a year or so.

Great product, excellent value for the price and both functional and pretty. Bought this to store my lotions and hair products in addition to an over the shower head caddy for hubby's stuff. It keeps everything nice and neat without being in the way. I especially like the razor holders on the sides. Love it!

This is my second one purchased, and I like this product very much. Our shower pipe is not very long so the caddy's to hang on the pipe will not work, so this is the best alternative and it fits everything we need in the shower.

Rusts fairly quickly

I saw this shower caddy online and found it at my local Walmart store. This is a very well designed caddy with its adjustability and multiple shelves and I really like it. But as others have said it just doesnt hold up in the moist/wet environment of a shower. Ours began to show rust spots within only a few DAYS of installation in our shower. Now, about 4 weeks old, and it has quite a bit of rust spots showing all over. This is due to the very THIN coating of protective (and decorative) chromium plating. Its really a shame. The company that makes this also makes the same unit in stainless steel which is practically rust proof. But it is almost 3 times the cost and unfortunately it is not sold by WalMart.

There's not a single shelf in the shower of the apartment I moved into, so this caddy definitely came in handy. The suction cups that keep the caddy from shifting hold strong and everything I need for the shower fits on the adjustable shelfs with no problem. I'm very happy and I highly recommend!!

I believe this shower caddy would be excellent for shower curtain rods that are screwed/bolted to the wall or for showers with glass wall enclosures. Unfortunately, I have a tension curtain rod, so when I added shampoo, conditioner, etc, it brought the whole curtain rod down. I had to return this item, but it would probably be perfect for someone else with a different set up!

I bought this for my daughter to take to college. She needed something with a backing, which it had, because she would be taking her things in and out of the shower each time. To me, it looked like it would hang on the shower rung, as you can see from the picture above on this page. When she tried to hang it on her shower rung, it just kind of tipped over--and all her toiletrees fell out. It has to be hung against a wall to make it steady, which was not why I wanted to purchase this item, since she did not have a wall she could hang it on-just the rung.
There were other caddys that hung over the shower head, but they did not have a back to them so you could not take them in and out of the shower without your things falling out.
