Great deal for a great product. It is everything I expected and more! I purchased this laptop for school and my random Internet browsing and I am extremely happy with the purchase.

I would have given it five stars, but the backlit keyboard went out less than a month after purchase. I did get in touch with Dell tech support and they quickly sent me a replacement keyboard. Now if I can just figure out how install it......

This is a great laptop. The graphics are great. My husband is jealous of the large screen and graphics.

The problem that I had with the power supply had to do with the placement of the battery. Everytime I moved the computer forward, the battery would become disconnected. Poor planning. The computer itself was beautiful. but it had a serious problem.

This was such a great purchase for me. I had been preparing to purchase a purple Dell directly from dell when I recieved an ad from Wal Mart about this one (maybe because of my past purple purchases) This computer has so many extra features that you would have to pay a ton for to add on each one through Dell. They are not standard. I just love the fingerprint reader, it has given me no problems. It's neat because you can use it for things other then logging on to your computer, it can also be set up to remember your user names & passwords for any website which I love. The backlit keyboard is a nice perk, and it's actually kind of purple which is way neat. It seems to work well for gaming as well which was important to me. It handled my new game just fine. It's a little heavier then your typical laptop, but it's worth it I think to have the large screen. Bigger is better for playing games and watching movies. Also, the internal wireless was good, it picked up on my home network right away. I was thrilled at how easy it was. Anyway, it was a great deal, nobody should pass this one up. And I love love love the purple. The only con is that I have yet to find a laptop bag that it will fit in. Oh, and the touch buttons can be annoying when you bump them at a bad time. But other then that, it's a wonderful laptop.

I love this computer.. The big screen is awesome, the color is really pretty, and I can get almost 5 hrs of battery life. However I do not like vista and how things pop up on the screen when you are in the middle of typing something, but I am adjusting to it and it's not doiing it as often... Overall this was a really good buy...

Great laptop, lots of features. Two months, no problems.

I have a desk top and a notebook for around the house...but when I bought this product, I was looking for something I could take to class and work. The batter time is amazing, I get 4+ hours on a fully charged battery which is a whole lot more than what I expected for continuous activity. The color isn't as purple as the picture but it's still cute but the best thing about this laptop is the 17" screen. I'm stuck in a room for 8hrs @ work and picture quality is awesome to just sit back and watch a movie on. Just like carrying around your own HD LCD flat screen. the only problem is that it is larger and heavier than any other notebook so good luck trying to find a cover or bag that holds more than the traditional 15"

I was skeptical about purchasing a DELL through Wal-Mart on-line. I had gone to several computer stores and did not get a chance to really see a 17" computer. I thought it may be to big, but after typing on it and having the 10-key pad on the right, I am very pleased that I chose a 17". And it's purple!!
