WBM Himalayan Ionic Natural Salt Lamp (approx. 11 lbs)
The Himalayan Natural Crystal Salt Lamp can be a good addition to your home dcor while supplying it with added harmony. As the name suggests, the beautiful Himalayan Salt lamp is made of salt crystals, which helps eliminate the negative energy in the home and enables you to replace it with more positive energy. The salt crystal used in the lamps comes from deep within the Himalayan Mountains, known for its pure and colorful salts. The salt crystals are hand carved and attached to a wooden base to form the ionic crystal salt lamp. Hand carving helps preserve the natural beauty of the salt. A 15-watt bulb and a 6 feet cord is also attached to the lamp for ease of operation. LOVE this lamp-2 bad u can only buy it on line...they would sell thousands if it were displayed in stores! each one is unique...the cord has a dimmer on it 2 so it can b used as a nightlight. broshure that comes with the lamp shows may other natural salt options 2

100% salt!! (yeah..we're human- we "tested" the product!"... If you're ' considering' this lamp- atmosphere, temptation..it's worth it! I've loved the look and ambience of Salt Lamps for years...they seem to freshen the air, and their glow is so warm and healing. This lamp is a great bargain, as most of these lamps cose twice as much and are much smaller.

Pretty night light and to look at, that's about it. We find no extra benefits in breathing better or anything else other than it is a nice night light. We did keep it on 24/7 for at least 3 weeks.

I love my lamps, they were exactly as shown, beautiful color and the size is nice. They are nice heavy lamps, not easily knocked over. I have not had any problems with the light bulbs but look very easy to change, as was a concern from previously read reviews, not sure what the problem would be, take the salt block off the top and change it and replace. The healing aspects are still up in the air, but I had held onto some type of cold/respiratory problem for 5 weeks, and is gone. I am going to tribute it to the lamp.... I have not turned it off since I picked it up at my local Walmart. I will be purchasing for other rooms as well as gifts.

I read up on these lamps and their therapeutic value and found that Walmart offers the same great quality lamps at a most affordable price. I am very happy with the look of the lamps and I have not witnessed an actual healing ie; allergies, but I have noticed a difference in the way I feel when I am near the lamps. I say try it, they are very beautiful to look at and I can appreciate beauty in the home! Thank You.

When we saw the photo online for this product we were unsure of what to expect. The concept of the light working to purify the air was intriguing, but we thought the lamp could be very unattractive.
Since the lamps are not sold in stores, we decided to use the store delivery system to order the globe, the basket, the rock, and the candle holders, to see if we liked at least one of them. When we brought them home and plugged them in we wanted to keep all of them. We even bought a fourth as a gift for my mother-in-law. The hue is amazing. Its warm orange color creates a real sense of calm in any space. If you are looking for a lamp to light up the room, this is not the lamp for you. This is more of an atmospheric lamp as the bulb is only 25 watts.
They really do seem to purify the air. After leaving a lamp on in a medium to smaller sized room and then returning to that room an hour later, the air smells just like a room that has been using a Holmes brand air purifier with ionization. Very fresh. The lamps are very very heavy, and leave a little salt dust after setting for a few days. It cleans up easily.
The lamp itself is very beautiful and unique. We love them!
Negative:
The electrical system in the light mechanism is cheap and loses circuit. We might have to replace some of these.

I had purchased this item online. It was upside down in the box so I knew that it had probably been returned at some point. It was nothing like the picture. I'm sure some may get close but not this one. The bottom 2/3 of the salt rock was completely white and the top part was the orange color shown on the picture. I plugged it in and turned it on to make sure it wasn't just the appearance. I added a star for the refund. You may get lucky and get a good one, but this one was not close to expectations by looking at the picture on the box. The seller is not likely able to open the boxes to check them out so if there were a different product I would consider buying from them in the future. In my opinion, something like this is best when you can view before buying.

I bought two of these and they just plain rock! They are perfect for a small bedroom. Be advised that each rock is different and colors vary. I personally prefer the the darker warm glow. Go out and get some! =)

I am very satisfied with this Lamp, i bought the bigger version at Walmart - 11-13 pound. I was surprised it came with a potentiometer (pot) for regulating the light and i love that. It's a very romantic lamp/light glowing in orange, reallynice. The rock is mineral salt rock, beautiful in its originallity of nature. I am buying anotehr one!

It gives off a warm orange glow as pictured.
I must say that we have noticed a better nights sleep and feel better in the morning.
