Only had this for one day. But it worked great for everything I used it for. Wished the tray was a bit deeper and had rubber feet to stop it from moving on the bottom. Still getting use to the plastic attachments on it. I quickly found out the #3 guard wasn't the length I needed. But we all need to start over sometimes. But it buzzed through my beard with ease. But for 5 years who can complain much? Will update in a few week of using it, If I find any serious issues with it..

. I had an earlier model by Wahl that was much the same; the interchangeable cutters and combs fit either one, in fact. Best feature, I found, is the addition of a wider trimmer head that does much better on my moustache and hairline on my neck. Only needed replacement because I had damaged the main trimmer head on the old one through neglect (not oiling), and being too rough when attaching the plastic combs over the trimmer head; you can break a trimmer "tooth" if you do this with the motor running, and you'll likeley chew up the plastic comb to some extent. Don't be afraid to buy it. Wahl makes good stuff. Takes only a short time to re-charge, once you've exhausted the battery. Lithium-Ion technology assures a long-lasting charge, too. Dot com buying with warehouse to store will save you substantially. If there's a weak point at all, it is the storage tray for the device and all the attachments. Getting them all in place was a challenge that I soon gave up on, (as with the older model, too) and elected instead to put everything in a simple tray that keeps it all at the ready. Trying to use the provided tray is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 on "ease of use". :)

I was asked for a review too soon; I have only had this trimmer for two days. It looks good but I will have to use it longer to really know. The user's guide is very meager, thus not very helpful. I had to go into the Internet to look up for tips and guides on how to use it.

Lacks Power and Closeness

I've always preferred to use Wahl trimmers for shaving and outlining my goatee/beard. I excitedly purchased this trimmer, but found it lacks power. The attachments are great, but the trimmer isn't strong enough and does not cut as close as my previous Wahl trimmer. I returned this product due to my dissatisfaction with its lack of power and inability to hold a charge.

I really liked the product, and would recommend it. I had read about the heads being hard to change, but I actually found them quite easy to change.
The trimmer cuts well and lasts long on a charge. I like the size, and have replaced my large and small trimmers with this one.

I've been cutting my own hair for about ten years now. This is the first cordless trimmer I have bought and I love it so far. The battery lasts a long time, long enough to trim my hair, change the attachment for shaving and get a really nice clean, razor close shave, on one charge and still have plenty of charge left. Impressive! The only thing I wish WAHL would improve on this model is making the attachments for trimming hair click into place like the shaving attachment. But that's just my opinion. :) I really like having no cord getting in my way all the time. So far it is an excellent product!

Pulls at facial hair...

Good for the price. I was hoping to get something to trim everything head to toe, but this doesnt work well for the beard, it pulls hairs (ouch!). Also, for the groin I wanted a safety type blade which I thought the foil attachment would suffice, however it isn't near the quality of other foil type trimmers e.g. norelco bodygroom. I endedup returning this and buying the bodygroom, which is more expensive and also doesn't work for the face but at least has a great foil trimmer.

Thought it was small at first sight, but so much easier to hold.The two different size trimmer blades and the precision trimmer are what makes this small trimmer worth it. So much easier to get all places precisly. The dual foil shaver is cute but haven't used it much. The reliability of lithium Ion tops it off.Don't like big trimmers,don't like cords that tangle,don't like ni-cad batteries in trimmers, (Never ready when you need). You can order a nose hair attachment from wahl if you want.I throw all the rest, beard guides and depth levels guides away, including the holder.Like to keep blades out of bathroom moisture.The small slim handle is what sticks out first.Easy to hold when in tight places or the back of your head.I am hard to please but I like this one.

This set comes with absolutely everything to do short hair styles,get a close razorless shave and charge fast and maintain a long charge for years. I have owned 2 over the last 6 years and even if it was 50 dollars it would be worth it,I cut my hair usually once every week or 2 all year long as well as using the shaving attatchment to maintain my facial hair every 2 days and for them to last 3 years with no trouble is amazing. The reason you need to get a new one usually is due to the blades geting dull over time and with the price it is an easy investment for those that like to keep a close shave without spending thousands on razors and destroying your skin and or for those that like to keep a short hair style. This is by far the best deal of all the trimmer kits on the market,dont waste time on any others.
