The Allen Bicycle Adaptor Bar lets you transform bicycles with non-conventional frames. It has a simple design that lets you attach it to any frame style with ease. Great for bicycles with a distance of 16" to 27" between seat post and stem, this Allen tension bar has plastic coated hooks that protect the finish of your bicycle. Did not expect much for the price, but I am surprised with the quality and performance of this product. I highly recommend to anyone needing an adaptor for mountain bikes. The spring action can pinch you if you are not careful when uninstalling.

Works as expected. Much less costly than other brands. The only minor complaint would be that the pin through the end is not coated and may scratch the finish of the handlebar stem.

However, it would be great if the pin was rubber coated to help reduce the possibility of scratching the handle bars....

I wanted to hang my cruiser type bike but met great problems because it was a girls style. By adding this bar I was able to hang it in garage. Simple to put on and take off. Also used Allen hang rack.

Compared to some of the overpriced similar items on the market today this is a bargain. Granted, it is a little clumsy to use especially the front locking mechanism (I found it easiest to engage the front fastener first then slip the rear part around the seat post last), but it gets the job done at half the price of anything else.

This product did just the job it was intended to do. It was easy to put on and off the bike. Since it was the end of summer, my options for buying one local were not good. The item was shipped promptly and shipping charges were minimal.

Took the bikes up to the Michigan U.P. from Chicago. The wife's bike needed a bar to hang off the bike rack. The bar is spring loaded so I thought the tension might not be enough to hold it.. I was wrong! Worked like a charm. Attach to the handle bar first and pull it into place on the seat. That's it! Had no issues and can't beat the price!

What a nice bike carrier adaptor to mount on a bike carrier. Many years we struggled to
mount a woman's bike on a carrier. After my favorite bike slipped in route and the rim was
damaged I decided to buy a new bike (Birra - for those of us that are having knee issues.)
This bike was impossible to mount on the carrier in a comfortable fashion so when I took it
to the bike shop he said "Oh you need a Bike carrier adaptor" but I don't have one at this
time. Anyway I went to Walmart and bought this one, wonderful, it was delivered in 3 days.
Ex quality and it works. I think Walmart and any store that sells bikes should have this next
to the bikes and suggest or show it to anyone that is buying a woman's bike.

Love it! I found this and it has made loading my bike so much easier. I read all the reviews and I really don't understand the "pinch" thing. I watched a video clip on how to use it. No pinched fingers for me. I would highly recommend it for all female bikes!
