Allen Sports Allen Sports Deluxe 4-Bike Carrier for 2" Hitch
The carry arm spacing of this Deluxe Bike Carrier for 2" Hitch accommodates a wide range of frame sizes and designs. This Allen Sports Bike Carrier features a patented tie-down cradle system that individually secures and protects bicycles. The 4 Bike Carrier carry arms fold out of the way when not in use and the rRack tilts back for easy lift-gate access. Plus, the Allen Sports Bike Carrier has a no-wobble bolt that eliminates movement of rack inside of hitch. All retainer clips are attached with lanyards to prevent lost parts. With a black powder-coated finish, this Deluxe Bike Carrier for 2" Hitch requires minimal assembly.

No where in the ad or description of the product did it say "not intended for use on any trailer."
Yet once it arrived, there it was written clearly on the front of the box. I am glad I did not need a rack immediately. As a result I spent an addtional $75 and got a rack worthy (read heavy duty) to mount on the rear of my fifth wheel.
I returned the product.

Good product for the money. Couldn't find it in the store. Did site to store for around $100. Then when I went to pick it up found it in the store for $69, so exchanged it. Easy to assemble and holds the bikes. You get what you pay for though. No stabilizer strap or anything to keep the bikes from swaying, but that was easily fixed with a ratchet strap or bungee cord. I recommend the product.

I have a spare tire on the back of my Honda CRV and needed a bike carrier that would extend beyond it. This carrier does. Please be aware that you need an adapter to properly transport a girls bike with this carrier.

I'm just getting into biking and wanted a carrier that was good quality and not too expensive. So far this carrier is great. It was easy to assemble out of the box and attach to my vehicle. I have carried mine and my sons bike on it and have no complaints.

This is my second Allen rack and again awsome rack now we have an SUB and this was my first brand choice this rack is easy to place in hitch did have to drill the hole bigger on the rack but it was worth the extra work the price is amazing and love love all the features you can bring the arm down when bikes are off rack and th awsome part is that you cam tilt the rack over to open the back door when bikes are off perfectly built sturdy stron and not heavy at all im 42 and i have mounted this by my self REMEMBER larger bikes go first straps are fine but make sure you buy a long cable to wrap you bikes together so they wont be atolen you can buy cable cheap at harbor freight stores lock is cheap as well.

The rack is exactly what the description said it would be. This was my first bike rack and I wasn't expecting a nut-and-bolt to fasten to the trailer receiver hitch...
Very easy assembly. Completed assembly, put away tools, threw away the box, and put the bike on the rack in about 20 minutes.
Go load your bike, and your kid's bike(s), and go riding together!

I spent considerable time looking at hitch mounted bike racks. They were either cheaply made or very expensive. I came across the Allen bike rack and have been very pleased. The quality is excellent and the price was quite reasonable. By ordering through Walmart I knew I could return it easily if I was not satisfied. I am very satisfied.

I haven't carried 4 bikes yet, but i like the extra room when carrying 2 and 3 bikes. The rack is solid in the hitch if tightened well. Really like the way it tilts out of the way of the tailgate on my P/U even with bikes mounted. I use bugey cords to keep handlebars steady. Removes easyly so I can use my hitch. Very pleased with this carrier.

very well put together, unpacked, put on truck went away for weekend, very solid.
The only con would be the latching mechanism for pins a little weak but easy to tweak.
For the money nice buy, made me rethink buying brand name stuff for twice the price.

Fits 4 bikes just fine. 2 mens 2 womans. I was able to mount the womans without purchasing the extra crossbar that fits a womans bike on to a bike rack. However doing some research Wallmart had these crossbars cheaper than anyone in my area, and around $13 cheaper than ordering from the manufactuer themselves.

I would not have purchased this bike rack if it weren't for a friend telling me that she loves hers and they've had it for a few years - and that Walmart sells it for a good price (well below the list price on the Allen website!). I was a little nervous on the price because I thought we would be paying more, but so far, it has been extremely sturdy and handled its first road trip. It folds down nicely and easily pivots and locks when I need to open the liftgate. I have 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hitch installed post-factory.

The only reason I didn't give this rack 5 stars in every category is beacaue it bounces an awful lot if you have a bike at the very last position by itself. Other than that this thing is sound! I would drive across country with this thing and not have a worry in the world. It's extremely simple to put together and it folds easily as well. Would definitely recommend this rack! Made in USA too

In upgrading from a 2 to a 4 bike carrier, I did a lot of research comparing bike racks from different makers. In my opinion the Allen is built as strongly if not stronger than any of the top carriers and is literally half the price. It may lack some of the bells and whistles of some of the top carriers but they are after all, bells and whistles. The only thing lacking and it's a minor detail, is a security loop or eyelid that you can run a cord and lock though to lock the bikes into. If you're looking for an excellent value at a great price, this is it.
