I'm really disappointed. I'm returning the product today. Everything about it seemed perfect, until... I went to bolt it to my SUV. The non-wobble bolt is not designed properly. The wobble factor is intense and scary; especially when you've spent a lot of money on your bikes and want to ensure they don't become road kill. I even took the rack to my local bike shop and asked for help to secure the rack to my SUV. No matter which way you sliced it, the rack wobbles. Apparently there are no threads inside the hitch connector for the non-wobble bolt to thread into - - ergo it wobbles. It is too bad, because everything else about this product is great!

Assembled very easily except for the pivot pin. It would not go in straight as the holes did not line up. Dealt directly with the manufacturer and a replacement is on the way. Other wise it should work great!

We installed our rack and travelled over 1000 miles without any incident. The ALLEN bike rack let us travel with a secure feeling that nothing would happen to the bikes or worst. We love the fact that the rack is securely mounted into our trailer hitch. SUPERB product. Keep up the good work. Appreciate the usual Wal-Mart value.

I used this for carrying my families 3 bikes and it performed as expected. Would deffinately recommend for an affordable solution. My only issue with it so far is the bottom pin that is used to drop the rack so the back hatch can be opened is very tight and I have to tap it with a hammer to pull the pin out.

Couldn't beat the price! It held an adult bike and 2 kids bikes on a 350 mile trip one way without any problem. The only issue with kids bikes is the width of rack and the frames of the smaller bikes but I got lucky and they just fit. The rack wabbled a little bit my hitch is 1 1/2 and the rack is 1 1/4 or 2" but it didn't make any sounds or affect driving at all.

I've owned it for 2 weeks now, and for the most part I like it a lot. Walmart delivered a few days ahead of promise date, appreciated! Product was easy to assemble, simple instructions, etc. Fits car well, relatively light weight, and wobble bolt seems to work 'ok' on my 1.25" receiver (but do wish I could simply use standard pin instead of threaded bolt to attach to receiver). Tie Downs not the friendliest, awkward in fact -- but they do appear strong and secure (as with most bike carriers, suggest you use extra tie downs every time). Nice unit for the money, and by all appearances and my 2 weeks experience with the bike carrier, it looks like it will do the job.

I was sceptical about purchasing this item via the internet without actually viewing it. I read all of the reviews and most were positive, so I ordered it. I was surprised and very pleased by how sturdy the bike rack actually was. I really expected it to be kind of cheap, because of the price, but it's very sturdy and well made. It was very easy to install and it only took about 5-10 minutes to mount on my vehicle.

Good Solid Rack

It's a very solid, non-rattling rack. My only issues are that it's a bit slanted. So it doesn't look that great. And pulling the pin to lean the rack back is very hard to remove. I use a book or whatever is handy to beat on it.

I've used this rack for several months now both on short and long distance car trips. I've nothing to say but good about it. It is well built and loading and unloading bikes is easy and fast. The tie down straps provides a secure platform. I've only put 2 bikes on it so far but carrying 3 bikes won't be any problem.
The ability to lower the rack away from the rear door or trunk without removing the rack from the car is a real plus and takes only seconds. Those who complain about wobble are probably not securing the rack to the receiver hitch properly. I use the 1-1/4 hitch access. The smaller anti-wobble bolt which Allen supplies reduces wobble to a minimum. Just be sure to use the 1-1/4 inch hole on the rack with the 1-1/4 inch bolt. Also ensure that the thicker end of the bolt is pushed all the way through until it comes up against the hitch receiver, then tighten down.
I'm glad I spent less than half on this Allen rack than would have cost me for a Thule or Yakima. It works well.

The rack is a good value for the price. My only objection is that the rack is designed to bolt into the receiver, making it difficult to remove quickly. It's better suited to leaving it bolted in during biking season and removing it for the winter. It does not work well if you have an SUV with a swing gate rather than a lift gate. The rack tilts back enough for a lift gate to clear it, but I had to grind down some metal to make it work on my Lexus GX with a swing gate.

Great price , went on easy if you have tools. only took me about 20 min to get on my GMC Envoy. Only problem was my 29' bike was very hard to get on had to take it apart at the rack to get my bigger frame 29' to fit so it was 1st, then my son's 26' had issues getting on. Don't know if I will keep it, not worth the amount of work to get 2 bikes on it.

I've had the 3-bike hitch for a few weeks now. It works great and real sturdy. A little tight with 3 bikes, but mine is a women's bike, so I think with all men's bike, it would fit better. Great value!

I normally do not write reviews BUT this is an exceptional deal!!!! The price is phenomenal for the quality......$1.97 shipping...WHOA....and fast too boot!!! My husband assembled this in no time at all.....piece of cake!!!! We have a 2" hitch on a Jeep Grand Cherokee.....fit like a charm!!! Only difficult part is tightening nuts on the bolt which keeps the rack tight.....and TIGHT it is. Had to buy a Bike Beam (Yakima excellent) in order to load my Women's bike.....works GREAT!! This is a WINNER in our book....looked at racks that were $200 to $300......huh???? I would say this would be a tight fit for three bikes.....fantastic for two!!!!
