I had never seen the movie or read the book. I friend of mine suggested I get the 1974 version of the movie. He said it was a great one. When I had told my daughters which are all out of school that I had bought the movie, they said that they had to read the book while in middle school and my oldest daughter said that she had seen the 1974 version of the movie. We watched it on 2/22. Even though there are some sad parts in the movie, it has a good and moral storyline.

Movie is great quality. But the movie is nothing like the book. Book is 100x better. Movie is a let down if your expecting anything as classic as the book.
