The week my daughter was born we were having trouble nursing and I needed something to pump with until we had success. The MiPump was cheap and I figured I would only need it occasionally until we had it down. 2 1/2 weeks later my little one still isnt nursing and im using the pump fulltime, every 3 hours. I am SO thankful I bought the MiPump. Its small and sleek, can run on batteries, I get a good amount everytime and it isnt painful. With my first I had the medela and it hurt! This one is WELL worth the money. I would recommend this to anyone! You cant get this good of quality for this kind of price with any other pump. I cant say enough about it!

It did not help me at all with my breast feeding, I feel it does not have enough power to take the milk out, even in the highest level. Maybe it was my lack of experience or I don't know, but I preffered to take the milk out with my fingers, they had more power than this.

The pump is a good pump until you use it often. I purchased this in 2009 and used it a couple of times when my son was three months. When I pumped I was only getting 2 oz out of two of my breasts. So, I decided to use formula. I started to use the pump again a couple of weeks ago when my son increased my supply and didn't use it. I was using it this past Saturday when it just stopped. There was no sign of the pump going out and just quit. I am not happy when I called customer service. All she said was she couldn't help me because it has been three years. I asked if I could get a coupon to buy another and she just told me to sign up for the offers in the e-mails. Please I need it now. I have been in pain for the past two days for them to tell me they can't help me. DON'T BUY IF YOU WANT IT TO QUIT WORKING!

For the first 2 weeks i used this it was great but then it wouldnt latch properly and i ended up with my shirts wet. i have large breasts and i might have done better with the double pump. but in the end after about 45 mins i ended up with 2 oz because of little to no suction.

To be honest I have only used this a few times. I used it once while my son was napping- it didn't wake him but he definitely noticed the sound. The suction is poor. I have to have it all the way up to get my milk going and keep it flowing. I pump almost every day only about once so I shouldn't have spent the money on an electric pump because I always use my manual pump. It seems to be MUCH faster if I can set the pace myself.

At first I was really happy with this pump. It worked great. I didn't mind the noise. And it IS noisy. But after 6 weeks of daily use, the pump is failing. I have to turn it off and on several times and even shake the pump to get it to work. Milk does get into the tubing and there's no way to clean the tube which is disappointing. After reading several reviews on several products I plan to go out and buy a Lansinoh Manual pump this evening before my First Years electric pump stops working all together.

I looked at what felt like 100 different breast pumps! This one took the cake! The price was great and the reviews were awsome. I went with the single pump (due to the reviews stating large breast don't fit the double pump well). I love the different settings the pump has. If your really sore, which happens, you can turn it down and give yourself a little break. I love how portable it is and the fact you can plug it in or use battries! It gets the job done and well!

I received this pump as a shower gift and it worked fantastic! I was very pleased with it, but after just two months of use the motor is completely dead. To be fair, I only intended to use it a couple times a week to build up a freezer stash but ended up having to use it several times a day. I would say that I definitely got a lot of use out of it, but I would have expected the product to last longer than it did. For that reason I would not recommend it to a friend and I will not purchase another.

I work full time and wanted a decent pump, and of course money is always an issue so The price of this pump caught my attention. It works really well for the money, maybe slower than some would like, but I like it a lot. I've been using it for 4 months now, and I feel like i've already gotten my moneys worth!

I have only used this pump twice, overall it works well. It a little noisy and the 1st time I used it and I did not get much milk but the 2nd time I got more. So hopefully if I keep on using it it will increase the amount of milk. It does not hurt which was one of my concerns when purchasing a pump.

my sister let me borrow this pump when I was pregnant with my son ( 2 years ago). when I found out I was pregnant again I told my husband we're getting one. It hurts at first, just because you have to get use to it, but the suction is great and it has a very even and steady flow. the speed setting helps you adjust to the right suction level, I always start it on low to help with the pain (found with every pump). the noise level is mild and very soothing, not at all distracting. my sister had hers for 2 years and gone thru 2 people and its still strong going on its 3rd. over all the best pump ever.

I purchased two of the miPump Single electric Breast Pumps for my daughter-in-laws. Within a month of use, both had to be replaced. The pump stopped working on one and the other pump worked erratically. Waiting to see how the replacements hold up.
