I read tons of reviews of this product while I was pregnant, as well as reviews of other more expensive pumps. I snatched up the last one at our local Walmart and am SO glad that I found it there!!! The pump works easily. Its so quiet. I'm so glad that it can work on batteries too....so convenient!!! With the 8 suction settings, it is so easy to work up to the appropriate suction setting that works best for me. I don't mind the fact that I can't do both breasts at the same time, because I just pump one side while my baby nurses the other. Right now, my baby nurses about 3 oz...so that's what I'm pumping per side.

This pump was a welcomed breath of fresh air. I had previously purchased two evenflo single pumps with my first son. They worked fine then, but I was having issues with my milk production, so I didn't get a lot of use out of them. I tried using them again with my second son and realized they were pretty bad. I was getting engorged and my son would get very sleepy at the breast and he wouldn't empty them. I purchased this pump based off of the other product reviews and found them to be true. This is an awesome product. It's quiet, extremely portable, easy to put together, and the suction is great. I use it everyday multiple times a day and it performs the same every time. Definitely a must buy. If you're skeptical about the pump and only want to purchase the single one, I beg you to reconsider. I wish I would have purchased the double pump.

It was by far the cheapest of the electric breast pumps and worked great for two months. The parts became harder and harder to get clean and there are no replacement parts on the market. After 3 months of use, the suction no longer works. It is cheap, but not a price for a disposable item like this one turned out to be. You get what you pay for.

I got this pump because of all the good reviews I read. What a mistake. I can hardly get any milk out when I pump; maybe 2 oz total from both sides. I still feel full after I'm done pumping. Sometimes I even have to stop pumping because it starts to hurt too much.
When I'm at work, it takes a long time to pump; which I don't have the time for as a RN. It doesn't empty me like I said before.
I would not buy this product again and would not recommed it to any of my friends.

This is my first baby and first pump besides the manual one they give you at the hospital. It works good, has different levels for the amount of suction and gets the job done. The only think to keep an eye out for when you first start pumping after it has been cleaned and dried is the little flap peice that drops the milk into the bottle after it sucks sometimes get stuck at first and if you dont open the top and us your finger to flop it open once real quick to release the milk into the bottle it will build up and the pump will start to suck the milk down the tube that does the suction to the machine and you dont want that to happen. My milk comes out fast. Takes me about 10 minutes to do both sides to fill up 4oz; but then again that all depends on how fash your milk produces. Usually how ever long it takes your baby to eat. If baby eats every 2-3hrs then milk will be ready every 2-3hrs.

I received this product as a gift to use with my son. I was a little worried about it at first, it hurt and I got hardly any milk, but as time went on, I was forced to use it when I went back to work since I couldn't get anything else. My milk supply increased, and everything has been great, except, it takes a while to pump and it shuts off randomly when it gets hot. Kind of annoying. If you run the highest setting continually it shuts off, today this cost me .5 oz of milk when it stopped pumping randomly. Kind of made me mad. I purchased the manual today to see if its better than the electric. My advice, if you are a new mom and you aren't on your lunch break pumping, and you have in upwards of an hour to devote to it, then buy this product, otherwise, don't.

this breast pump is amazing. it is easy to use and easy to set up. it gets at least 2oz in only 10 minutes (some people may get more though). it is fairly quiet (just makes a quiet vibration noise). and it is not painful. you can plug it into the wall or use it on the go. and you can use that bottle to feed your baby from. everything is included. it even comes with a little bag to keep everything in. its pretty cheap & well worth the price. {the overall rating is much higher than it says. my computer wont let me change it. they would all be starred off. all 5 stars}

This pump worked pretty well at the beginning.
A lot of times, the milk will go into the tubing... very bad because it can get into the motor part, hard to clean the tubing. You have to run water through it and then let it dry. If there is too much milk too fast, it will get stuck in there and go into the tubing.
STOPPED working after three months of having it. Only used it full-time for about a month and then used it every once in awhile. It no longer had the suction although you can hear the motor.
Overall, not worth to only do one breast at a time. It takes forever if you have to do one breast when you can buy a two-breast one and save a lot of time... especially if you are taking this to work and trying to pump during your lunch hour.
Had to go and buy an other pump, a two-breast pump, which saves A LOT OF TIME! So, you get what you pay for with this one. I guess if you are not sure if you are going to breastfeed for an extended period of time, you can buy this one and try it out. If you are going to breastfeed, save money in the long run and buy an other breast pump.

I got this as a baby shower gift and I really like this pump it is very comfortable to use and I like the fact that it is small in size . I pumped with my first daughter who was born preemie and so I planned on doing it again with my new daughter and so far this pump has worked just as well as the big one I had with my first daughter which was one the hospital gave me to use .

I love this pump! I had another first years pump with my first child five years ago and loved it too.. I think I like this one better. It is very small and portable. The bag that comes with it is adorable and useful. My only complaint is that the pump is some what loud.... It has many different levels of pumping... Most of them are so slight it doesn't produce anything...But on high it works well.. There could be a setting or two stronger but it works good.

This pump is wonderful. I previously owned an Avent manual pump, and this is so much better. I can express about 4 oz. in 20 minutes, and it's very comfortable and easy to use. I pump usually once/day for the occasional bottle feeding. You only have 3 parts to clean, and it is very easy to pump in the car with batteries. I pump my milk directly into my baby's MAM bottles. The bottles do not fit the pump, but I just hold the bottle up to the pump and the milk drips right into the bottle. I like doing it this way because then I do not have to transfer the milk and lose some of the good fats. The only thing I would say is kind of annoying is that you can only pump into the First Years bottles. But, I suppose that isn't something that can really be fixed, unless The First Years revamped their bottle shape. Overall, this pump is wonderful!

I am a first time mom and my baby is 1 week old. This pump works great, it helped to increase my milk production so that I can store milk for daddy to feed baby also. The only thing that I expected is for the tote bag to be bigger, it is so tiny! It doesn't even zip close, so if the bag happens to topple over everything is likely to fall out. But that's the only thing that didn't meet my expectations. Overall I would definately recommend this pump.

Don't let the price fool you. This pump is as good as many pricier pumps out there. Just after I had my son, I borrowed my friend's top-of-the-line Madela pump. While it worked great, I have had just as much success using this pump. My only regret is that I wish I would have got the double pump! I have no problems with the strength; it never hurts (it has many settings) and I can pump large quantities at a time (up to 9 ounces in half an hour). The breast shield is not made of hard plastic (like Madelas), but I actually prefer the shield on this pump. It conforms more to the breast. The fact that it runs with an a/c adapter or on batteries is great; I can pump anywhere! The carrying bag is great, too. It can hold items in addition to the pump. Can't say enough great things about this pump!

I previously owned a Gerber breast pump which I purchased for my first child in '05. I didn't realize how bad it was until I bought the mipump. The mipump is great if you're going to pump 1-2 times a day. After I purchased it I went home and fed my baby while I pumped. It was not painful at all nor noisey. It was very easy to clean and to put together. I think it is a great product for $55. The first time I pumped 4 oz and the second time 2.5 oz. Hope this is helpful!

I was recommended this product by numerous people who have had much success with it. I pump feed solely, so I needed a pump that could drain every ounce it could. I pump on average, every two hours. This product works great, is easy to clean and fits all normal size bottles. I began pumping with a manual pump before this pump and found that I could express more milk manually. So, I would suggest this product to someone who doesn't have issues with their milk flow being slow.
