The Viore 42'' Full-HD 1080p LCD HDTV delivers the detail of a full high-definition picture in an attractive design that's less than five inches deep. The tuner can receive conventional analog channels (NTSC), as well as digital channels (ATSC), including over-the-air HDTV broadcasts where available and unscrambled digital cable channels. Plus, the Viore 42'' Full-HD 1080p LCD HDTV has a variety of inputs that make it simple to connect DVD players, camcorders, digital cameras or even a computer. Includes full-function remote control. Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of the Viore 42'' Full-HD 1080p LCD HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than a standard-definition TV. Please contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade to HD programming.

Very poor picture quality on several channels, good on others. Very poor manual and poor customer service from the manufacturer. I would not recommend.

I would say if you need to cut costs this tv is ok. However, whenever you change the channel it takes forever for the next channel to show and you can't proceed to the next channel until the previous one shows. If you have the money get the more expense brand.

This product met all my expectations, and as opposed to some other reviews; I think the sound quality is great. Picture is good. It took some getting used to tweaking the picture size with the satellite system. Great product for the unbeatable price.

I have only had the TV for a couple weeks, but so far very happy. Great picture and not bad sound from the TV's speakers, though I have a surround sound system hooked up to it as well. I was really hesitant to purchase an unknown brand, but the price was great, and I am not dissapointed.

TV arrived "didn't use Express = Mistake" Audio damaged or non operable, both AV did not function. Request not to return to store call 800 number for support. 800 number disconnected took 3 long hold calls to get through to support which said AV and Sound issues may be due to interoperability of equiment. Waste of Time..

I think that this tv is better than the Vizio I have. The picture quality is better. I also think that the sound could be a little bit better. You might want to hook up some external speakers. So far so good. I would definitely recommend though.

Overall I think it's a fine TV, only problem is and I consider it to be kind of a big deal, and maybe this is true of flat-screens in general....it takes a good 10 seconds for the thing to receive picture from the point of hitting the "Power" button!!

I purchased this TV through site-to-store and picked it up about 4 days ago. Upon turning the TV on, I noticed there is a dark spot right in the center, and about 1/3 of the way from the bottom of the screen. It is not a dead pixel, but an area of about 1"x1" that is shaded. I currently have an exchange unit on the way to my local store.
Other than this slight problem, the picture looks Great!!! The audio is much better than I expected as well, and for under $600! What a deal. Features are slightly lacking...only 2 HDMI inputs, no DVI, but these are not major problems, and what you would expect from a budget unit. If the replacement TV has no problems, then this TV gets 5 Stars!

Purchased this tv online, picked it up at the store, took it home, plugged it in, and it wouldn't even turn on! Kindof scary considering I just spent almost $600 on it!!! I also purchased the same brand in a 32" and so far it works fine, but I am still curious as to how long this thing will last! Definately worth the extra money to get a NAME BRAND TV THAT YOU KNOW WILL WORK!!!

Overall great TV but the remote is cheesie. This is a great TV with great picture right out of the box. no pixel problems and the sound is great.
We mounted it to the wall and used the screw mount screws that are in the tv to attach to mount. Be careful of aftermarket provided hardware because there screws will bottom out in the back of the set and could crack the case of the tv. we used the "Level Mount DC50T" to mount it.
DIRECT TV REMOTE does not recognize tv
Buy it!

i researched lcd's like crazy and decided to go with this one b/c if i didn't like it i knew i could return to walmart, who has stood behind their products before, and this was a great deal. excellent picture, excellent sound, aesthetically pleasing design at a great price. picture and sound rival my more expensive plasma set. only drawback is the set is 71lbs, but this is not much of a negative, as it's fixed properly to the wall at the studs. only one bad pixel on whole field. very happy with product and walmart service was great too, arrived early and female associates helped load it into our truck.

I love everything about this tv pic quality and all. I did have a problem with the four pixels being out but they are at the very edge of the screen and did not think it was worth it to take it back and wait another month for another one. When the tv is on or off I cannot notice it; you literally have to be 2 inches away from the tv to notice. Sound quality and picture quality is perfect and love the hd

Being a Junior in college, I don't have a lot of money to spend. When I found out that Walmart was selling a 42" television under $600, I was very skeptical. I've never heard of this particular brand, but after searching through the reviews, I decided to take a chance.
First off, I never registered that I bought a 42" television for under $600 that would never possibly fit inside my two-door Sunfire. When I got the television in my apartment, I set it up and it immediately lit up my entire living room!
I saw that from some of the reviews that there was pixel problems (that some of them were shown to be dead), but when I turned the Viore on, there was no problems whatsoever! And this was after a long trip in a truck from Site-to-Store!
Perhaps the only big problem with television is that the remote is hard to work with and there is no universal remote out there yet to re-program. The picture is great on the television from the seat on my couch, but up-close it's fuzzy (so definitely watch it right on the HD channels).
The base is really sturdy and it can also be mounted and works perfectly for any gaming systems, dvd, and blue-ray!
If you want amazing picture, then you probably want to get a mainstream brand. If you want amazing quality for the price, then Viore won't disappoint.

Right before opening the box I noticed this was a repackaged unit (not a good sign). Setup was simple enough with all the hookups being well marked. First turn on took awhile for the tv to find all available channels. After first power up had 3 stuck pixels. Two right next to each other in the middle of the screen (not good). Setup menu was easy to get through but would liked to have seen a more complete control set. Only basic controls for color, tint, contrast, and brightness are available. Screen resolutions settings were a joke. Cutting off some of the view in full, theater, or wide screen mode. Standard tv mode left 8" of screen on either side unused. Returned this and got my money back.
