I had a LARGE crazy toddler. Jumping was not permitted on the beds. I say this because of previous comments leading to the bed breaking.... my son has ALWAYS been in the 90th+ percentile and we had NO problems. This bed looked very nice and served its purpose. Regretfully, I gave it to a friend because I wasn't planning on anymore children. I am about to purchase one for my daughter now. I really loved this bed. Its a TODDLER bed. So, I don't recommend it for bigger kids.

My little girl loves her "big girl bed," but this thing is a nightmare to put together. The wood is soft, the pieces need some coaxing together in parts, and styrofoam is included as a support. Once it's together it's a good bed for the money, but it took my very handy husband several hours (and a mallet) to put this together.

My son loves his bed and I like that I didn't have to settle for a plastic themed one in case he dislikes cars and toy story in a week or two. This bed is perfect for my little man, it makes him feel very grown up and I love the way it looks in his room.

This is a very cute and affordable toddler bed. My son has slept very well in it. We have only had it few days. My only complaints would be that it is much lighter than the advertised mocha finish, it is a little hard to assemble, and the rails are very short. It is what we expected though, and we are satisfied with our purchase. It even held me and our son for story time, and I am 6 months pregnant.

The color is definitely NOT ESPRESSO!!!Not even close. I purchased this to match my espresso crib that I already have and it is way brighter. The holes to the bed don't even line up at all. There are screws already in place where you are supposed to be screwing.I should have known by the spelling errors in the instructions that I was going to have a hard time. I'm taking it back today and going to Target.

We bought this bed for my 2 year old. After reading A LOT of reviews and doing a lot of research, my wife and I decided that this bed was the best bang for the buck. I will say that the construction of the bed is a tad on the complicated side. Nothing impossible, but requires 2 people. Apart from that, bed is sturdy and color was as described. And with the longer railings, my son has yet to fall out of bed, ( knock on wood!!!)

This bed really did not meet my expectations. The true color is not Espresso, it is a very light brown color. The slats that hold the mattress are horribly uneven, some are too short while others fit just right. I am not a satisfied customer and I will be returning this bed before the 90 day period passes.

This bed is beautiful. I read some of the previous comments and it is true that the color of the wood is NOT "espresso" So be careful if this matters to you. The color is more like a cherry wood. It did not matter to me since I was not matching other furniture.
The bed can be confusing to put together. The instructions are not very clear and the parts are labeled in the diagram but not labeled on the pieces. I would HIGHLY recommend taking sticky notes and labeling the wood parts before you begin. The hardware kit is very well labeled. Be careful when you are assembling the bottom side bars. There is specific holes that need to match the arms facing up. If you do not look carefully you could easily assemble them incorrectly- (I did).
It takes patience to build this bed. Put aside time. I recommend 2 people working together to alleviate frustration. But once its done it is beautiful and strong. I do not regret my purchase. I only wish the color was more like what I was expecting. I love this bed and the price was incredible!

I read the other reviews on this bed and thought it would be a pain to put together but it wasn't. For one read the directions and pay attention to what you are doing and you won't have problem. I put it together by myself and it really take long even with the help of my 2 years old. I like the bed and think it is great. I would buy another and would recommend it to a friend.

My 20 month old son loved this at first site. Nice bed, crib mattress fit just right.! Also purchased the toy organizer to match its a good purchase. Overall very happy with the bed. Easy to assemble anyone with common sense will b fine.

We bought this bed for our two year old son. He loves it and we love it! It was very easy to put together. It seems to be very sturdy and can surely hold more weight than the listed 50 pounds (I sometimes lay on the bed to read him a bedtime story). All in all, I think it is a beautiful bed and the value was exceptional.
It was our first time ordering anything from Wal-Mart and it was great. We choose site-to-store and we picked it up less than 2 days after ordering it. Everything was just perfect.

I ATTEMPTED TO PUT THIS BED TOGETHER FOR MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, AND IT WAS A COMPLETE AND UTTER DISASTER! ONE SIDE OF THE RAIL SPLIT IN HALF AND THE SCREWS DID NOT LINE UP AT ALL! I TRIED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO MAKE SURE I WAS DOING IT RIGHT, BUT THE BED WAS THE ONE THAT WAS OFF, LITERALLY! I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH THIS AND I AM GOING RIGHT NOW TO RETURN IT AND GET MY MONEY BACK! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BED TO ANYONE!

My son loves his big boy bed he was 17 months old when we bought it and he sleeps in it every night. I love it because it's a nice piece of furniture for a great price. it's not like those cheap plastic toy story or dora ones you see in stores. I can see him using it for at least another 3 years. It was also very easy to put together. Highly recommend!

Very pretty and good price, although it was slightly damaged when we got it out of box and we've had a hard time getting in touch with the manufactor. The one we bought did not come with the two extra middle support legs although the picture and information say otherwise. Kinda of false advertisement if you ask me.

So I bought this to match the bedroom set that I also got from wal mart in the espresso finish and let me tell you this bed compared to the crib, changing table, and dresser that I bought couldn't be more different on their colors!! This bed is like cherry colored compared to the other espresso furniture I bought from here. I also bought a rocker and ottoman in espresso and it matches the set but this DOES NOT!!!

I love this bed, it was VERY easy to put together. The only beef I have with it is it is a cherry wood color...But other than that it works perfect for my 19 month old son!
