The Sanyo HPS-MC3 3-in-1 Nonstick Electric Multi-Cooker helps you to grill, steam or slow cook food. You can grill pancakes, fish, sandwiches using the grill plate or steam vegetables, chicken, and other healthy foods using the convenient steaming tray. This 1350-Watt Sanyo slow cooker features a 4.5 quart cooking pot that is large enough to cook tasty dishes for a family. The pot's interior has a non-stick titanium coating that help for an easy clean-up. You can easily set the desired temperature for cooking using the temperature controls and even retain the food warm up to 460 degrees F until served using the keep warm option. The silver electric cooker has a transparent glass lid that allows you to closely monitor food without disturbing the cooking process. The dishwasher safe-parts call for low maintenance while the cool-touch handles offer firm grip for easy handling.

This pot was purchased for my daughter who is in college, who was tired of eating in the cafteria at the college becasue they closed early or they didn't have what she wanted or the cost was to high. And the food in the other cafteria was not health and the one with the food that was health closed early. so the pot helps her and her roomate.

We bought this pot specifically for hot pot, we haven't used the grill. We had a great hot pot from Zojirushi, but it died and we couldn't find a replacement cord. That said Zojirushi doesn't make a pot of this quality in this price range...Now, I'm a convert. This Sanyo pot heats up and delivers. PLUS, it has a VIP safety feature:a magnetic cord attachment. Why is this helpful?? When your 3 y.o. doesn't heed your commands to walk around the cord and walks thru it instead, the cord comes out of the pot's socket w/out pulling the pot of boiling water w/it!! And to all of the folks who are freaked out by the lead in the cord...the wires are insulated with the rubber coating. Your hands are not in direct contact with the lead. Most mixed metals have a certain amount of lead in them, including jewelry metals.

I was replacing an old crock pot that died after 30 years! I couldn't find a style that I liked until I came across this one. I had no idea how versatile this cooker would be. I thought I would use it once a month.....I use this at least twice a week. I use it as a fry pan, dutch oven, slow cooker, rice cooker... and on and on. I love this product have recommended it to my friends.

It does what it says it will do.
The totally non stick surface is great.
If your looking for something that can do much more then just slow cook...this is it.
Heat control is very good.
Does perfect pancakes.
Had my first home grilled T bone steak, good stuff.

It does what it say. Love it. I have it for about 2 weeks and I plan using it a couple times per week. When the weather turn too hot, I cook outside and I have no problem with it.
