The Vizio 32'' 1080p LCD HDTV delivers the detail of a full 1080p high-definition picture within a rich java-colored exterior finish. The tuner can receive conventional analog channels (NTSC), as well as digital channels (ATSC), including over-the-air HDTV broadcasts where available and unscrambled digital cable channels. Three HDMI inputs and a variety of other inputs make it simple to connect DVD players, camcorders, digital cameras or even a computer. Vizio remote control included. Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of an HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than that of a standard-definition TV. Please contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade to HD programming.

Did a lot of reseach over past year but wasn't sure when 'to bite the bullet'. Did not buy until now because our 25" tube T.V was loosing top of picture. Bought this T.V. on Friday 11/13/09 for $488 partially because my son said this was one of the top 4 LCD T.V.'s We got it home and WOW. A great picture sooooo far.Let's see in a few months or years---hopefully. Remote channel "up/down" as well as "Vol. controls" are reversed,otherwise the remote is big enough for my fingers (hand is slightly above average size). CON: As I said before, I bought this (Friday) 11/13/09 AND then on (Sunday) 11/15/09 I saw this on sale at SEARS for $ 399.99. PRO: Walmart DID matched the price ( when we showed them ad from Sears). In conclusion , even after all my reseach we still don't know which one is best. Some have 'blacker' blacks ; some have more or less 'vivid colors' ,BUT we guess it is like they say about computers---- "Buy as much as you can afford" and hope it is good enough for you.

We bought a 55" Vizio for our family room and love it, so when the time came to purchase a flat panel for our travel trailer, Vizio and Walmart were the two names that first came to mind. I saw this TV as a display in my local Walmart and compared to the others around it, it looked better. It was a perfect fit size wise for the camper and they had a price roll back of $50 so I took it home. We have satellite at home, so I was curious how the pop up antenna on the camper would do picking up TV stations under the new digital format. I connected it to power and the antenna, turned it on, watched it search for channels and viola - I had 29 crisp digital channels to watch! It looked like I was watching satellite TV! Great television!!

I bought this TV to hook up to my Playstation 3 via HDMI to hopefully get more out of my gaming....It did everything I hoped for, first of all, the picture is outstanding, second, the remote is very easy to use, the only things that could be improved at all (on a very critical standard) could be the sound, and to add what shows are on next when you click the guide button. Other than that I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking about buying a quality TV.

Great TV, Great Buying Experience!! Wasn't too sure about buying on line but had no problems. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition. The color is fantastic and the sound is wonderful. Nothing to setting it up and running. Very pleased with the way Wal-mart kept me informed from the time the order was placed to the time it left the warehouse to the time it was delivered to the store. Would highly recommend the TV and the process to anyone.

LIKE ALL NEW ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET, PARTICULARLY TV SETS, IT LACKS SUFFICIENT INPUT/OUTPUT JACKS. WITH ALL THE NEW PERIPHERALS AVAILABLE, THERE IS A NEED FOR EASIER INSTALLATION, WITHOUT HAVING TO JURY RIG CONNECTIONS TO VARIOUS ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT. WITH MORE AVAILABLE JACKS, BOTH IN AND OUT, IT WOULD MAKE IT MUCH SIMPLER TO INSTALL.
THE SOUND SYSTEM IS NOT GOOD AT ALL. IT IS TINNY, AND WHEN COUPLED WITH AN AMPLIFIER/SPEAKER SYSTEM, PRODUCES AN ECHO EFFECT. VERY HARD TO BALANCE THE SOUND LEVELS.
FOR THE PRICE, THE PICTURE QUALITY CAN'T BE BEAT. ALSO, TECH SUPPORT IS EXCELLENT.

After doing a lot of research and reading a lot of reviews we decided on this tv. For the price, you can't beat this tv. It was very easy and quick to hook up and set up. The picture quality is great with non hd satellite tv and with hd. I have not tried it yet with regular digital channels. The picture quality is great and considering we don't have surround sound with it the sound is good also. My cousin has a 40" Sylvania that she paid a lot more for and the picture and sound are not even close to as good as this tv. Highly recommend this tv.

From the moment I researched and then purchased I could not have made a better decision. Vizio has the HD LCD down to a science now and it proves itself out from the moment you open the box. The ONLY complaint I could give would be the sound. I like things like movies, video games, and music played loudly, but the tv's sound doesn't get very loud. Tempted to buy external speakers...BUT, overall this tv is excellent, and for less than $500 you really cannot beat this deal. Good product, picture is great, etc. This is my first hd tv, and Vizio has made me very happy (and my wallet, too). I bought the 3 year warranty. I recommend this, bc otherwise if something goes wrong after a year then your stuck:/ I highly recommend this tv.
