I bought this product on line and although it was a good price and easy install i guess you get what you pay for. After install on a sunny day by dusk i turned it on to test it and no mater what i did the motion detector would not turn the light on. The test button would make them turn on but nothing else. I am very disapointed as i need some motion activated solar lights for my back yard but i guess ill give it another day and if it doesnt work il be taking it back. Dont be cheap like me, spend 30-50$ more dollars and get a qaulity product that you know will work. Lesson learned.

If you want to have just some illumination of an area and don't expect bright light , it will meet your needs. It will charge even on cloudy days. I was a little skeptiical about it being solar, but overall it is better than I expected.

I let the solar lamp sit in the sun for half a day and that night it was lighting up my patio. Very bright light and great price for the product.

DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT, VERY POOR

We installed this on the side of our house to light part of our pathway. The first night it put out a VERY small, almost not noticeable amount of light for a few minutes and then lost all power. The last 2 nights it has not lit up at all even after charging all day.
We are taking the light down and returning it to the store. Even though this is a good price for a solar flood light, it barely works or doesn't work, making it not worth spending money on.
I would strongly suggest NOT buying this product.

I needed to get a spotlite for my backyard but did not want to hire an electrician just to put wiring for the outside.
I had no problem installing it. Needed a 9/32 drill bit though along with the anchor screws that were provided.
The light is bright enough for security, but not for a party.

Easy to install. Lighting isn't THAT bright, but adequate for the area to be illuminated. May have problems finding "C" rechargeable batteries in our area. Overall, it is a good product for the price.

Lights Things Up

I bought this product from Wal Mart after a couple of weeks of online research at various websites. I finally decided on this one because of the features it provided at a reasonable price.
My installation was somewhat different, in that the lights were installed above one of my garage doors which is under my carport, but the solar panel had to be installed on the metal siderail of the carport in order to be in the sun. I could only use the installation instructions as a general guideline. Still, the installation went well and only took me about an hour. I spent about another hour to make the adjustments for sensitivity and time for the light to burn when activated. The instructions really were very clear on how to make these adjustments.
The light is not a super bright spotlight, but lights up an area about 18' by 25' in a soft white light. The way I have mine adjusted, I can use it to light up my front door enough to see my front steps, keys and the keyhole in my door when I come in at night. I no longer have to leave my porchlight on when I know I'm coming in after dark.
I'm very happy with my purchase of this product. It may not be the perfect product for everyone, because people have different problems they are trying to fix. For me, this was the perfect answer. I didn't have to pay someone to wire into my garage wiring, and I could install it myself. It has really surpassed my expectations.
I was really surprised at how the solar panel charges the batteries even in very cloudy conditions. It actually was cloudy when I installed it and it rained later that day and off and on for the next week. The light has stayed charged and ready to go from the very beginning.
Thanks Wal Mart!

The installation was very easy and it puts out a lot of light for being a solar product.
