Appears to be far better built than the Shark (model discontinued) it replaced.
Holds a good supply of water and it does build up a nice head of steam for blasting crud out of tight spots, we use it to clean the sliding door tracks (Florida homes have lots of them). Also works well on floors making them feel clean. But the primary is for cleaning windows. And this baby is earning its keep. BTW, steam is the best way to clean your house windows & mirrors. Steam it, then use a cotton towel. No streaks, no film.

If you can't invest in a high end steamer, this is a good alternative. The trick is to use it so that it performs at its highest potential. I have found that it works most effectively when the water is super hot, so let it warm up for a significant amount of time before you use it. I also found pressure is highest when you first start using it, so areas that require extra cleaning power should be cleaned first. Allow the steamer time to build up pressure again, and continue to clean in sections. This seems like a tedious process, but the steamer really works its best this way, especially where you really need and want it to. Once the area is cleaned, it is easier to maintain without having to wait for intense heat and pressure, and without having to clean in sections. The results are worth the effort. I love what this steamer is capable of, especially for the price.

So great and easy to work with. I have cleaned my house from head to toe...windows - inside and out, shower tiles, bathtub and tiles, floors, mirrors, toilet sets, sides of toilets, kitchen cabinets, exterior of my refrigerator which is pretty old but came with this house but it had been hand cleaned but still showed some yellowing...not anymore...cleaned up like brand new...
I cleaned the tracks on the sliding glass doors - fantastic..don't even need to get your nails dirty. I have taken all my old jewelry from many years and steam cleaned it and they all look like brand new. I've cleaned my screen doors, my dryer vent, my washer, and dryer - I could go on and on. I used to buy, fix up and sell homes - boy do I wish I had one of these back then and how much easier it would have been. Next I am working on my car. The great thing is that you use just distilled water - no chemicals needed. Pays for itself in no time.

Why use chemicals?!?! This unit is incredible!!
In 1998 I purchased a LadyBug XL Steamer for $1600 and it lasted until last year. We were rarely sick and we saved money and our health from not buying cleaning chemicals.
Though this unit has some, minor, differences, this is a magnificent replacement and cleans up to expectations!!

This is the best cleaning tool I've ever purchased. The first thing I cleaned with it was my windows and it made them sparkle inside and out like nothing I've ever used before. I had paint splatter on the outside panes that had been on the windows since it was built that I couldn't scrape off with a razor blade. After I steamed them it scraped it off easily with the razor. My dog likes to look out the back door glass and she gets her "nose prints" all over it. Usually it takes ammonia and a lot of scrubbing to get that off, but the steamer removed it easily. Next I tried it on the grout of my ceramic tile floors. It lightened them several shades and I was very happy with it. I also used the steamer to mop the ceramic and it was so much easier than a traditional mop and cleaned just as well. I've also used it on my baseboards to get to dirt in the corners that's hard to get out. Overall I'm very, very happy with the steamer and would definitely recomend it to others.

When I received the unit my first thought was Wow it's small, after using the squeegee on the walls and windows with great results and with no hard labor. Kitchen floor was the next challenge and it passed with flying colors, more work but the results were well worth it. The windows are cleaner then new with no paper towels. bathroom was the last and dirtiest as expected what a job this machine does and how easy to do the walls, tile, shower, and the floor what a unit a happy camper here.

This steam cleaner works great! i've been using chemicals and got tired of the cost and the fumes. it takes the same amount of time to do the job, but no more fumes, no more ungainly gloves, no more spending money on exspensive chems. highly recommened!

Great product overall few minor issues after an all day cleaning spree carrying handle

I bought this steamer for my couch mostly, I wasn't to impressed with it's ability for that. The scrub pad that comes with it worked well for about 60 seconds and then the glue melted from the heat of the steam and the scrub pad came off. I was able to call the manufacturer and they happily sent me 3 new ones free of charge. The chair I used the scrub pad on left trail lines on the fabric, which came out when I used the high power steamer followed by me using a microfiber rag buffing the couch, but it did clean out some of the stains. Be careful with the triangle brush on soft fabrics, it can ruin with one stroke. The floor mop is great I love it. I wish it had scrubbers for that also. The high power steam works great. The amount of steam you get out of one tank fill up is awesome. I was able to do all my kitchen and bathroom on one tank. . Works great on walls, doors, windows, cars, this steamer DOES ALMOST EVERYTHING!!! All in all I'm happy with it, I use it every other day, I just wont ever use it on my couch again.

Floors, counters, takes off dirt, grime, hairspray, some stains, ovens/stoves. easy to use. Careful around steam, it's HOT! (duh) Haven't tried greasy engine or carpets or windows yet. I expect it will clean them as well. Would be nice if accessories would all fit on the machine but it's small size is also attractive. I put all the accessories in a cloth bag I hang in the closet. If you stop steaming for a half a minute or more your steam will begin to condense in the hose and wand. I use a towel to purge the water into before I go back to mopping. Pretty impressed with this unit.

I purchase this steamer because I stayed in what was supposed to be a four star Hotel. This hotel had major problems one of which were bed bugs. When I got home, my roommate that shared the room with me called and told me to check my clothes because she think that the hotel had bedbugs. I had unpacked my suitcase and left them on the couch in the den over the week-end and later found out that I brought the bed bugs home. I did not know what to do. I tried a few things but got no results. I sprayed the couch which did not solve the problem only made the couch smell like spray. I purchased this steamer and steamed the couch twice inside and out. It got rid of the bed bugs and the smell of the spray.
