It is great for the price. it is sturdy but scratches easily; however, other cribs also scratches easily. it has one major problem that you will face during the assembling. two of the nuts need to be screwed with an angle and it is very difficult to get it done. if you are planning to reassemble for use of in another room, good luck for screwing them... however, all other connections are straightforward. overall, a good product

Review 2 for Baby Mod - Cadence 4-in-1 Convertible Crib, Espresso
Baby isn't due for awhile, so I can't comment on how it will hold up with a child in it. However, the quality seems to be pretty good for the price we paid. It took 2 of us about an hour to put it together. I'm sure it could be done with one person, but it would be very difficult. The color is great - it is a little more cherry than I would have expected by the name (espresso), but I trusted the other reviews which indicated that it was more cherry. My biggest complaint with this crib is the number of stickers ALL OVER IT. Every single piece has a sticker and they're all in very noticeable places. They also are practically glued on. We're still trying to get them all off and are having to use goo gone to remove the residue. Most of the stickers are just warnings that all say the same thing or letters to mark the pieces. I think one warning sticker would be enough, and would be better on the inside of the crib where it wouldn't be noticeable. Also, the crib scratches easily, so be careful while assembling. However, even with those complaints, I would still recommend. I love it so far and can't wait to see my baby in it.

After spending WAY to long looking for a crib, we decided to select this one... i read the reviews about the scratches, and other things, but i looked at its overall saferty rating from different websites, and it was rated VERY high! Since this would be our third child (older children 15 and 10- a lot has changed), i tend to think that we are somewhat experts (smile)... This is very sturdy and just right for the money... My husband didn’t have a hard time putting it together, and we are both pleased at its sturdiness and durability... and it looks fantastic! overall we are very happy!

I purchased the crib through Walmart in the States (we live 2 hours from the border and saved a ton purchasing across the border). The crib box was damaged and they brought it out to the dolly damage side down. We didn't notice until we unloaded it from the car and unwrapped the items. The headboard was gouged, the main front leg was scratched and the finish on two legs was not completely sprayed on. The quality I expected was much less then I received. If you purchase this crib, open the box before leaving the store to avoid disappointment.

Review 7 for Baby Mod - Cadence 4-in-1 Convertible Crib, Espresso
Great crib for the price. The espresso color is more like cherry-espresso as there is some reddish undertones to it. Slightly lighter than we hoped. Wood does scratch easy as reported. Instructions are somewhat confusing. Pictures can me hard to understand/make out and the text is short and not very detailed. We ended up facing one of the sides the wrong way and had to re-do. All in all, a great crib. Sturdy wood and great finish. Looks slick.
About 3 hrs to build (due to error putting together)

This crib is gorgeous and very sturdy. The product came exactly as described and was not damaged from shipping/pick up. It took about an hour to put together. But do not buy expresso color or darker because it scratches just when you look at it. As we were putting the pieces together, it was scratch after scratch. So I would definitely recommend the crib brand and style but just not the color. You will need to get a color that you can not see scratches as easily. Also, we were not able to attach a mobile that we bought because the bars where too big and the mobile wouldn't attach around them :(

Took me a few hours to put together at 7 months prego and did cause some frustration especially since I used the wrong screw in the beginning and at the end the last screw was to big so I had to go back and unscrew everything to locate the correct one, lol. My advice is to separate and label all hardware first to avoid mix up other than that and the scratches the crib is beautiful. Best if 2 people assemble as it will help prevent scratching.

I bought the 4 in 1 crib for my sons baby due end of March. My daughter in-law took at least 4-6 hrs to put crib together. The wood was scratched and dented. One of the bars was loose. Screws are visible thoughout the entire crib. I am returning the crib.

Review 11 for Baby Mod - Cadence 4-in-1 Convertible Crib, Espresso
This crib took us 2 days to assemble because the nut and barrel system is terrible. The holes and hardware are difficult to align and once the screws are in the the holes look awful. But the worst part is it scratches very easily. Even with a light pass of a fingernail causes it to stratch deeply and it is a very light crib so doubt that it is real wood. Just assembling it caused it to scratch tremendously. We had to buy a stain pen to cover it. Don't know how it will survive a toddler biting on it. No way its going to last to be converted to a full sized bed

Review 13 for Baby Mod - Cadence 4-in-1 Convertible Crib, Espresso
This crib looks great once put together. It is more of a cherry espresso, just like the other reviews claimed. This was fine as I'm not very picky with the color. The dark brown furniture we have goes well with it. It was fairly easy to put together. I did it myself at 5.5 months prego. No big deal. Took about an hour once I layed out all the pieces and had counted all the hardware. Everything was included that I needed, except a Phillips head screw driver. Only needed my husband to help when connecting the sides with the front panel. I love the way it looks and even more impressed with the price I paid. I wanted a classy look for a low price & that is exactly what I got. Great deal. Also, it is same crib as DaVinci Kalani at Target for $50 cheaper!! I researched cribs for over a month before finally buying this. I paid $199 plus only $0.98 for shipping to my home. So proud of my purchase. I just hope it lasts for us to use it as a toddler bed! The rail comes included!

I bought this crib to go along with some existing furniture, and totally love it. It's better than the expensive one we bought from the department store for our 16 month old. It's sturdy, easy to assemble, and comes with the toddler conversion rail that a lot of them don't come with. You will love it.

I found this crib very nice for the price. We put it together in 10 min. It looks very quality and expensive crib n the color is the same w picture on here. We had try to find matching color for our room and purhased some cribs but when we open the box we find them too different color than pics, finally with this crib we are so happy. It's nice expresso color.its scratch easily but almost every furniture like this so u just have to take care of it. Only issue We had is when we were putting the crib bumpers, bcuz the front side is tall but it's wasn't that serious we found the way to put it right.

This crib is great quality especially for the price. It was fairly easy to put together. I had the item delivered site to store and when I picked it up it was perfect. Not one scratch or dent anywhere on the item. It is very sturdy and I am so excited that this crib will grow with my son. The additional rail kit to turn it into a full size bed is very reasonably priced as well. Definitely recommend this crib to everyone!

I bought this crib for my daughter as a gift for her 1st baby. I searched a long time to find the right baby bed for the money. This bed definitely was that! I actually ordered a different bed because this was out of stock at the time, and the next day it became available, so I went and ordered it too. This bed actually came in before the other one by 3 days. My husband who has put a few baby beds together had no problem with this at all. He did comment that it came in a lot more pieces than the older beds but it wasn't a big deal. This crib looks really rich and has a beautiful finish! I would definitely recommend this crib!

Putting together was not really a hard job comparing to many other products we did before (dresser, desk, etc.). The wood is heavy with good quality. It is sturdy. (It is real wood, I think, instead of engineered wood). The finish is beautiful and clean.

Purchased this crib for our daughter & son-in-law's first baby. Had it shipped Site-to-Store where they picked it up about 100 miles away. Baby's grandpa and daddy put it together. It took a couple of tries, because the instructions weren't easy to find in the box; so locate those first! Once it was done, it turned out beautifully. Matched parents' bedroom furniture too! This crib is a higher quality than those stocked in most of the stores, so take a look online at what Wal-Mart has to offer. The mattress is also nice. We weren't disappointed. The Site-to-Store option really made it easy and there was no shipping charge.
