If you suffer from cold symptoms, dry itchy skin, or chapped lips due to the low humidity in your home, this cool mist humidifier can help. It will increase the moisture in the air continuously, for up to 24 hours, without disturbing your sleep. If the tank, which can store up to 0.9 gallons of water, is empty, the humidifier will automatically turn itself off. The water tank is removable, making it convenient to clean and refill. With a 360? mist nozzle, this Crane 2.3 gallon humidifier can distribute moisture evenly throughout the room. The humidifier uses only 32 watts of power to humidify rooms of up to 250-sq.ft. The mist output can also be controlled to suit your needs.

Having had cool mist humidifiers before, I have learned that access to the water reservoir for cleaning is essential. This product has an opening so small that complete cleaning of the reservoir is impossible.

Although the price of this humidifier is rather high compared to other products, it allows us to vary the exact amount of mosture we want. In addition, it runs very quietly. The water tank is big enough for operating continuously for 24 hours. All the parts can be washed or cleaned easily. However, be careful not to let water come inside the base through a vent.

It smells so bad of plastic I can hardly stand it. I've only had it a week and keep rinsing it and using vinegar, but if the smell doesn't go away soon I will have to return it. Also the light inside is extremely bright for night time bedroom use. We are trying to figure out how to cover the bulb with tape.

When I began my search for the "right" humidifier I was overwhelmed by all the options. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, more expensive is not always better, and so I did a bit of research and found this humidifier by Crane. I've had the Crane Cool Mist Humidifier for several months now and am thoroughly pleased. At first I was somewhat uncertain this particular model would work, mainly due to reviews that said it soaked everything immediately surrounding the humidifier when running, was loud, and hard to clean. HOWEVER, I haven’t had any of these issues. There is an adjustable power/moisture knob on the front which is nice. NOTE: keeping it on a low/medium setting puts out just the right amount of mist and allows the humidifier to run for hours. The manual explains that if the knob is turned up too high furniture, walls, etc may become wet, but that is b/c there is too much moisture in the room and simply recommends turning the knob down to a lower setting. The humidifier does shut off when the water level becomes low, the noise is extremely subtle, and is very simple to clean. I plan on purchasing this exact model again for the upstairs area of my house. All-in-all I would recommend the Crane Cool Mist Humidifier to anyone looking for a well-made, inexpensive, easy to use humidifier.

The only good thing I can say about this is that when it breaks down (and I guarantee you it will) the company honors it warantee. Fortunately I purchased the extended coverage from Walmart. On the 366th day it stopped working (this was the 4th one.) Walmart gave me back my money 1,2,3.

I've used humidifiers every winter for my kids' bedrooms. Most have required filters which quickly need replacing and cost more money. This humidifier doesn't need a filter. I just empty it each day and let it air dry. Every night, it gives off wonderful cool mist. It is so easy to keep clean, even with my hard water. Every once in a while, I use a mild hard-water cleaner or a little bleach to freshen it up....but I love this humidifier. It is very well designed and built to last!

Since my bed is right under the heat vent I have trouble with waking up to bloody noses. I had an old humidifier but it was too bulky and took up most of the room on my night stand that I had to sleep with my phone, plus I had to fill it in the bathtub. I bought this one because it was smaller and the reviews made it seem like it was easier to handle.
THIS WAS A GREAT BUY!! Not only is it SIMPLE to put together but it was also LIGHT WEIGHT and SILENT! I can fill it in the sink, screw the cap on and EASILY put the tank back on the bottom. It runs so quietly that I had to turn it all the way up just to see the mist, however it is unnecessary to keep it all the way up. I have only had this for a couple days but I'm happy to say that I am free of nose-bleeds so far. :D
